WHAT TO EXPECT

Our bus will drop us off at Bargeplein. Here we will have 10 minutes to go to the bathroom. The guide will explain what time they should return to the bus.
2. Minnewater Lake
Our first stop will be Minnewater Lake, also known as the "Lake of Love". With the beautiful lake in the background, our guide will explain the history of Bruges, as well as the love story linked to this lake.

The next stop on our tour will be the Beguinario. Founded in 1245, this place keeps the history of an incredible group of women.
4. Chocolalino
In one of the few certified artisan chocolate shops, we will have the opportunity to taste artisan chocolates. Our guide will also tell us about the famous Bruges chocolate and give us some tips to distinguish handmade from industrial chocolate.

In this beautiful square, our guide will explain the history of the Bruges beer.

Here our guide will teach us how to identify the original medieval houses.

You will have the opportunity to take beautiful photos from the small bridge.

In front of the Old St. John Hospital, our guide will explain how the health system in medieval Bruges worked.
9. Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk
In front of the old Hospital of San Juan, we will find the Church of Our Lady. From the outside, our guide will explain some curiosities of the white marble sculpture of the Virgin and Child created by Michelangelo that is found inside the church.
10. Gruuthusemuseum
In front of Gruuthuse, we will meet the most famous and powerful family in Bruges between the 17th and 18th centuries.
11. St Bonifacius Bridge
In one of the most charming places in Bruges, our guide will explain the interesting legend of this bridge. They will also have time to take photos.

In the most photographed place in Bruges, our guide will tell us about the history surrounding the "Muelle de las rosas". You will also have the opportunity to take some photos.
13. Huidenvettersplein
Our next stop is the Tanners Square, here we will learn how tanners worked in medieval Bruges.
14. Burg Square
In this square we find the Gothic town hall, the old courthouse and the Basilica of the Holy Blood.
15. The Markt
The last point of our guided tour is the Grote Markt. Here our guide will explain the different buildings around the square and also give you some tips on where to eat or what are the best shops to buy traditional chocolate. The guide will also remind you when and where you need to be to catch the bus back to Brussels.
16. Bruges
Free time, you will enjoy approximately 2 hours of free time (depending on traffic and the rhythm of the group).

Here awaits our guide and the bus. Time to go back to Amsterdam.

Do NOT book with this company! Absolutely horrible experience. We were stopped for 2+ hours by customs officers because our driver lacked the necessary paperwork to operate the bus. As a result, our time is Bruges was cut in half! We had almost no time to see anything at all. Bus tour guide (female, she never told us her name) was very rude to English-speaking guests and would not give us any information about what was going on. We were delayed a considerable amount of time with no food or drink. They eventually moved us to a different bus with a toilet that was out of order. Totally unprofessional company. We wasted an entire day of our vacation on this awful experience. They also left us as a different drop-off location from the pick-up, and we had to find our way back to our hotel on our own, in the rain, at 10 p.m. at night with no phone service (no chargers on the bus and we were at 0 percent after this 14+ hour disaster of a trip.) Terrible does not begin to describe.

We booked the 12 hours trip to Bruges from Amsterdam through a travel agent who used BUENDIA TOURS. The tour takes about 3 hours to reach Bruges. In the bus, we had a guide who spoke so much in Spanish which we could not follow. He did not even ask if all understood Spanish. Then when we asked him he just said 2 lines to explain what all he spoke for nearly 15 min in Spanish. Next when we reached Bruges, there another English guide joined us along with other travelers now this was a sizeable crowd of english speaking people. But the guide was so bad in English that we could hardly follow what he was talking. After some rambling he left us at a central place. The moment he said bye, no one stopped or even looked back (everyone was so disappointed that we got nothing for this trip). And then after sometime we gather to go back for the 3 hour trip back.
We got to know nothing about the place or its value because someone decided to use a guide who was just rambling.
I am sure the place is good but with less knowledge of what is what it was not interesting at all.

Our guide Manuel and bus driver Edel were amazing, super friendly and knowledgeable!

It was a great experience and recommend it 100%. Bruges was incredible and made even better with Manuel's facts about the city.

Do not miss this tour once in Amsterdam.

Amazing tour, excellent guide Lorena, very knowledgeble, interesting facts, very flexible, accurate ittenaray. Great experience and more tan anough time to see Bruges.
