Fabrizio was a great guide. He had an excellent grasp of how the paintings we saw fitted into the overall context of art history and made the individual paintings come alive with his interesting explanations. He concentrated on the paintings of major importance but also showed us important local genres. And at the very end while looking at a painting of the 1860s, he explained to me, vey clearly and simply, the sequence of events in the Risorgimento, something I have been struggling to understand for years.

HORRIBLE. My wife twisted her ankle the day before. We called 23.5 hours (not 24 hrs) in advance because that was when our flight landed and they denied the refund. They argued we had to present a hospital admission paper, mhhh (in a foreign country). Last time I used Viator.

I highly recommend this tour because I never know which art are the "main attractions" let alone being able to stop and figure out the little meanings behind it or what to look for in the artwork. Having a guide makes an art gallery experience so much more enjoyable vs walking aimlessly around the museum not knowing what to look for. I appreciate starting and ending on time. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
