Unforgettable day spent with a great guide Paulo! The Braga and Guimaraes whole day tour was filled with deep history learning and beautiful sight seeing. Paulo has a great personality. He is very knowledgeable, helpful and fun tour professional. It was a great pleasure to spend a beautiful day, learned a lot and have fun.

My son and I traveled to Portugal together and we chose this tour and so happy we did. Pedro was an amazing tour guide! Great personality and very informative on Braga and Guimaraes. He took us to an amazing restaurant and we had a wonderful time with him! He even tried teaching me how to speak in Portuguese! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

My husband and I did this tour with Paulo and we absolutely loved every minute of it! Paulo was so knowledgeable of everywhere we visited and also the history of Portugal. He made sure to include everyone in conversations and encouraged questions. The included lunch was fantastic! 10/10 recommend!

Highly recommend this tour especially if you can get Paolo as your tour guide! He was so friendly and clearly passionate about working with people, so he was focussed on ensuring we all had a good time. The tour itself was comfortable (minivan with 6 people in total) and a good length. The sites were beautiful and Paolo’s historical context helped us better appreciate the significance of what we were seeing. A great day spent! I highly recommend.

Paulo was an excellent guide, full of energy and knowledge. We saw so much in just one day and enjoyed it more than we enjoyed Porto. The included lunch was at an authentic local hole in the wall and was fun and excellent, with Paulo suggesting all kinds of dishes for us to share and making sure the included wine kept flowing. I've had bad experiences with lunches during tours on my trip, one of which was paid separately and a total tourist ripoff with lousy food. This lunch experience was truly a memorable part of the tour. The tour was an excellent value for money and such a professional, enthusiastic guide, go with Paulo if you can.

Paulo led our tour to Braga and Guimares. We were the only two people on the tour and were able to see everything and customize based on the heat and how tired we got. We went to a nice local restaurant where we got tons of good Portuguese food.
We saw churches, bascilica, cathederal, downtowns, etc. An excellent taste of both cities.

Paolo was a great driver and very experienced tour guide filled with many details both historical and environmental. Showed us the gems of both Braga and Guimares with a very inspired perspective, you can tell he loves his job. Very considerate to people’s needs, the tour was lovely. Food was amazing at a small family owned cafe where you felt part of the community. My family and I have felt very welcomed.

I was extremely disappointed with this tour. Firstly, you should be advised when booking that it is going to be a multi lingual tour. So much time was wasted for the duplication of site explanations- and English seemed to be given far less time.
Second issue- the tour host did not spend any time on the bus or whilst walking around explaining the cities or surrounding areas. I learnt more from listening to the “trainee” host.
Lastly, the vehicular at the Sanctuary is wrongly advertised as being included and the Castle is a waste of time as it is basically closed.
