Bernini was the Boroque equivalent of Michaelango. I enjoyed the museum . Good bathrooms. We also loved the paintings of Caravaggio and the Roman mosaics and the painted ceilings.

We had Rosella, a very competent guide to the Borghese. She knows her art history and social history well. Enjoyable two hours, if still very crowded.

Rossella was a fantastic tour guide. She brought the art and the architecture to life with stories and history! Highly recommend this tour for a peaceful morning out of the scrum. The gardens are beautiful also.

My wife wanted to go to the gallery and museum so we arranged to join a group guided tour. Unfortunately, the tour was more detailed and longer than we wanted or needed so we skipped out early and just looked at the items which were of interest to us. The art and sculptures are beautiful.

We went with guide Martina, and she was fabulous! Such a wealth of knowledge and such a lovely way of sharing that with the group. I felt we saw all of the high points and hand downs, this has been our best tour experience in and out of Rome (except for one in Berlin a few years ago😉). Worth every cent!

The Borghese Gallery has some of the greatest masterpieces of all time. It is simply beautiful!!! And the gardens are the perfect surrounding. Must visit!!!
