The actual gallery was amazing when we finally got in!!! Dreadful confusion regarding ticket collection!!! No ticket provided only a voucher … which the gallery would not accept
I spent over 30 minutes on the phone (extremely expensive!!!) only to be told the whole voucher was cancelled!
I was very upset and the manager of the gallery was absolutely amazing!!!!
I cannot fault the gallery it was stunning - but Viator through trip advisor was abysmal!!! I have seen many reviews similar to mine - this MUST be rectified!!!

It is one of the most exquisite museums in the world. Not to be missed if you are an art lover and in Rome. Recommend to reserve your ticket since they can be sold out.

The Borghese Gallery is a must-see. You're only allowed a few hours, but it's enough. You'll never get in without a reservation, and you ought to make your reservation well before your arrival in Rome.
It's a highly selective collection of some of the best art found in Rome, paid for, stolen, or extorted by Cardinal Scipione Borghese. There are some noteworthy Caravaggios, and incredible pieces by Bernini.

We were not informed until we were at the Villa Borghese that the company was unable to get tickets even though I got a “confirmed “ status even a day before!! I spent 1/2 hour on phone with customer service, while standing at the front desk of the museum, and they said they sent me a notice on WhatsApp which I never check! They were sold out so didn’t get to your museum. Total BS!

The Gallery is of course a must see in Rome. However the ticket procedure was really confusing, The tour operator did respond to me though. The issue is that the email with the ticket did not have it as an attachment. For some reason I got emails from 3 different groups, the tour operator, Viator, and Tripadvisor. When I clicked on Tripadvisor's button to retrieve my ticket, all I got was a voucher that I had to turn it to get the actual ticket. the voucher had a meeting point in the garden to go to, but there is not meeting point. This was supposed to be completely on line. After a lot of searching I found a very tiny button in the first email after the booking to download my ticket.
Borghese is great. Must see

Our ticket supplier never showed up. We had to go into the museum and beg for them to let us in. They were gracious and kind but we lost about half an hour of our allotted time

The museum visit was great. The communication from the reservation provider was abysmal. 3 conflicting advice were given. No email was ever sent with tickets attached. Thankfully the person who answered the phone number provided (and which I had to call at my own expense) was able to send the tickets by whatsapp.

We missed our tour and we were one hour late entering the museum because we could not redeem our vouchers for tickets anywhere at the venue or the redemption site. It was very upsetting and ruined the day. I will never use your company again and will tell everyone I know how terrible the experience was. Unfortunately for me I have already prepurchased tickets for the coliseum tour and cannot acces those. Why not just email the tickets?

This place is a must to visit if visiting Rome. Beautiful experience all round. Make sure you book in advance and select a slot. It was sold out on the day we went. A great time seeing all the superb peices, some well known. Not packed which was wonderful compared to the Vatican and Colosseum - highly recommended a must see.
