This was my favorite tour we did in Rome. Not only for the beautiful sculptures and ceilings, but for our amazing guide to talked us through each piece as a compelling story. Our tour guide, Emmanuella (spelling?), was fantastic, walking us around each statue to see the changes in story from each angle. When she said "this museum is a woman" we were sold. Thank you so much!

Finding the location of the gallery was extremely difficult, and having been charged £125.00 for two tickets by trip advisor we learnt that the second floor of the villa was closed for renovation- this held most of the valuable works of art that we had come to see. Very expensive for what it was and felt that we should have been told that half the gallery was closed before being charged top price for tickets

Very small place and couldn’t get the cheaper tickets from Borghese. I guess scalpers buy them all and then you have to buy from the scalpers at their inflated prices. It’s worth every penny. You can walk through the beautiful park afterwards as well.

The Borghese is one of Rome’s must-see museums. This guided tour is the way to go. Our guide was super knowledgeable & put real context & life into the works of art.

Esmanuelda (sp?) was a great tour guide with a wealth of historical knowledge. Her presentation of the contrast in Michaelangelo's David and Bernini's was intriguing, memorable, and entertaining. Highly recommend her.
