A boat tour around Capri is the perfect way to discover the island at a relaxed pace sharing the happiness with a small group of people ( max 12) on board. We will pick you up with a free shuttle in Positano from our meeting point and will bring you by the departure port in Sorrento area (1 hours of driving time each way) where will leave sailing under the coast towards Capri passing by Punta Campanella, the extreme part of the Sorrentine Peninsula. Once reached the Island you'll be welcomed by: the Salto di Tiberio, a precipice overlooking the sea, Villa Jovis, and "Grotta Bianca". The tour will continue sailing towards the Faraglioni Rocks, the Natural Arch and Villa Malaparte. The first part of the tour will end with a stop for a swim before land in Capri and enjoy from 3.5 to 4 hours of free time at your disposal. The return journey to the port is approximately of 40 minutes then a free shuttle service await you to bring you by the meeting point in Positano - by land. Doesn't leave from port of Positano, they drive you to Sorrento! They don't clearly say that. You wait at the gas station for the pick up point then Its an hour drive, no food no snacks, then an hour waiting on the dock with no water, no snacks. Then on the boat no service of snacks and water. We left the tour and took ferry home for $25. Not worth your money at all.

My wife and I booked this trip as part of our honeymoon and we're glad we did. Guido, our skipper for the trip, was incredibly personable, humorous, and easygoing with excellent English. The ride over to Capri was a blast (he blasted ABBA on the way over and we thought it set the mood perfectly) and he walked us through everything there was to do on the island before we even pulled into port. Provided maps and visual guides too!
The actual island itself was a bit disappointing for us, though. There were plenty of shops and ample time to see a variety of interesting sights (the Gardens of Augustus are an especially good bang for your buck while you're there), but the amount of other tourists there alongside the pricey souvenirs made it somewhat difficult to fully enjoy. Also, the only way to see all of it in one day is to book a seat on one of the many private mini-buses that populate the island once you're there, so bring an extra 25 Euro a person for that.
The tour around the island was when things picked back up for us. Plenty of snacks and drinks, some solid swimming time, a pass through Faraglioni and the "Arch of Love" (which featured Guido appropriately setting the mood via Dean Martin's "That's Amore" and handing out tambourines for all of us to play along with), and wonderfully smooth sailing. If you're going to want to see Capri, this trip is the way to do it.

This was a great experience - consisted of a boat ride to Capri, time on the island to walk around and explore, then a boat tour around the island with a stop for swimming. The Captain and assistant were extremely friendly and helpful.

I was searching for a boat trip to the Capri island and this package was exactly that. Our driver met us close to our stay in Positano and drove us to the port in Sorrento. From there, we took a quick 30-40 minute ride to the island of Capri. The skipper gave us quality tips and advice on how to spend our 4 hours of the island in order to skip some long lines and save money. After cruising around the island in a “semi private” hop on, hop off, bus for $25 euros, we returned to the boat. Afterwards, the skipper took our group around the island, sharing the history and taking us to the key spots, stopping to swim in clear blue waters, before returning to the dock, and getting our ride back to Positano. The price of this deal was absolutely worth it and I would highly recommend this to anyone.
