We depart Dublin @ 08:00, driving through the midlands down to Blarney, in the beautiful County Cork. We will pass through the Golden Vale, the most fertile lands in all of Europe with green fields as far as the eye can see.
2. Rock of Cashel
Our first stop will be the world famous Rock of Cashel in Co. Tipperary. One of Ireland's most evocative sites, you can stroll in the footsteps of St. Patrick flanked by ruins, Celtic crosses and round towers. Feel the soul of Ireland. The Rock of Cashel was the traditional seat of the Kings of Munster until they donated the complex to the Catholic Church almost 1,000 years ago for use as a cathedral. One of the best examples of medieval architecture anywhere in Europe. Your entrance fee (EUR 7.00) is included in the price of this tour.
3. Cork
Enjoy one hour and thirty minutes at leisure in Cork city, Ireland's southern capital. Highlights include the gourmet English Markets (1788) with a large selection of food stalls representing the best of local produce. Queen Elizabeth II of England thoroughly enjoyed meeting local artisans here on her State Visit in 2011! Also known as the “Rebel City” for its fierce resistance during the War of Independence, Cork has a vibrant Irish atmosphere. Perhaps sample a pint of Murphy's Irish Stout or pick up a bottle of Paddy Flaherty Irish Whiskey. Enjoy 1.5 hours exploring Cork City with your family and friends. Join us back on the tour and we will head for the majestic Blarney Castle!
4. Blarney Castle & Gardens
Famed in song and story, the Irish are famous for the “Blarney”. Kiss the Blarney Stone and you too will receive this “gift of the gab” - 7 years of eloquent speech. Situated on the battlements of Blarney Castle you will have to bend over backwards to kiss the stone! You have time to enjoy a stroll around the fabulous gardens of the Blarney Estate or maybe enjoy the beautiful Lake Walk. We also visit the Witches Cave in the castle grounds before having plenty of time to indulge in the tax free shopping haven of the Blarney Woollen Mills and craft shop. Your entrance fee (EUR 13.00) is included in the price of this tour.

This was a great tour! Really had a fun guide and just the right amount of time at each stop. The best part is our guide told us “Kiss the Blarney Stone once for luck, twice you’ll have a red headed son in 9 months” …..well found out I was pregnant a few weeks later later and 9 months later I gave birth to a beautiful son….who many people have commented “is his hair red?” (My husband and I have brown hair haha!)

Well wroth the money! Blarney castle was amazing , and the driver / guide Gerry was awesome! Definitely recommend going in the winter as there was no wait time to Kiss the Blarney Stone! The Rock of Cashel was breathtaking and the charming little town of Cork city was a perfect place to grab a bite to eat!! Thank you and I look forward to coming back!

I already notified Viator, but did not receive any assistance. My group and I struggled to find the pickup place for this tour. It was dark and rainy. I contacted the operator 5 minutes after the pickup time via phone when we arrived and didn’t see the bus. The operator informed me that the bus left at 8:03. I was not contacted to see if my party of 4 was close by or cancelling or had any other issue. Viator told me I could just work with the operator to find another tour. I paid $360 for the Blarney Castle tour and ended up on a tour that was $132, so I lost $230. This is not the service I have come to expect from Viator.

Alex, our tour guide, AWESOME! Rock of Cashel…truly amazing! Cork city…lively and beautiful! Blarney Castle…remarkable, fascinating, stunning, and so so so much more! I would recommend this tour time and time again…and make sure you kiss the stone!

Our last stop in Cork was cut short by 1/2 hour by the driver and we couldn’t do anything except wait on the line for a bathroom

The tour pick-up location is a bit unclear even with address/Google map plus asking several local pedestrians, finally a bus driver is able to point out the correct location after I show him the Paddywagon bus photo.

Gerry is a great tour guide, give everyone a "history lesson" about England/Ireland. Overall a worthwhile day trip.
