This is a fabulous tour and highly recommended to those visiting the island. We felt lucky and appreciative to get Mia as our tour guide. She is amiable,has a pleasing voice and is knowledgeable about the island. We appreciated all of her knowledge about the history, culture, Goddesses and Gods of the isle of Hawaii. Take this tour and ask for Mia to be your tour guide!

This tour is fantastic, with beautiful views and a great swimming spot. Our guide Derek had a wonderful sense of humor and a ton of information. He also found time to take us by a farmer’s market for some of the freshest fruits I’ve ever had.

5 stars for our tour guide, Mia!
She had the perfect balance of calm energy while also sharing lots of great historical, cultural and personal stories. She made the experience feel very organic. She gave us some quiet time with music mixed into the tour which allowed us some rest time between stops. I was amazed at her ability to keep her energy and patience steady the whole tour. She was exceptional.
4 stars for the tour. It’s just TOO LONG. I recommend removing the Portuguese bakery and Rainbow Falls stops. The bakery added nothing to the tour and the Akaka Falls were much more spectacular.
Suggestions:
1. It would be really nice to end the tour on the west side to end the tour with the sunset. Cutting out the two stops I recommend would help you get to the west side in time.
2. Supply more snacks like baked goods and fresh fruit. I’d gladly pay a little more for the tour.
3. Let people know ahead that lunch is mostly meat and reach out day before to allow vegetarian or pescatarians to order a special meal from Hawaiian bbq
4. Again, remove Portuguese bakery and Rainbow Falls.
Please note - if you get sick in cars there’s a lot of windy roads in the first 2-3 hours of the tour and even if you don’t normally get sick, you may.
Great tour. Just keep in mind it does feel very long because there’s so much driving in between stops.

Highly recommend this tour! Our guide Mia was exceptional! Her knowledge of the island, the history, traditions and culture rounded out all of the water sports on our vacation. A terrific way to see the big island in comfort. Wasabi tours is a family owned, top notch outfit. Awesome experience!

I would highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide, Chris, did an excellent job telling very interesting stories about the legends and history of the big island of Hawaii throughout the tour. We circled the whole island in one day.
At each stop, there was a bathroom area and snacks, lunch and water bottles were provided. The first stop was Kona coffee farm where we sampled the coffee which was delicious (and I’m not a coffee drinker).
Next we stopped at the southernmost bakery where you can see them make the Hawaiian sweet bread and have some brunch if you like. The next stop was the black sand beach where we saw a sea turtle sunning on the beach.
After that, we went to the National Volcano park where we saw the crater rim, steam vents and walked through a lava tube! We also saw some amazing waterfalls in the rain forest. This is a wonderful way to see the island and learn about the culture and history along the way. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour!

I believe it was the Lave tube and waterfalls. Was worth every penny!!! Chris our tour guide was fabulous----- loved the coffee farm but the lava tube and waterfalls were just awesome.

Our tour guide Alani was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and operated at everyone's pace. Learned a lot about the Big Island. It was truly an enjoyable tour. Highly recommend.
