Boat tour was great. Bus was not informative because the information volume too low to hear and the music would hurt your ears, way too loud.

Highly convenient! Attractive buses. Appropriate amount of stops. Sit on top deck if you can. Overall a good value on the two day pass.

Awesome way to see the sights. Do not miss the river cruise. It’s amazing to see things from different perspectives: walking, atop the double decker and then on the water. I LOVE ‘Hop On Hop Off’ and seek these tours out in all the major cities I visit.

The river cruise was by far the best. The gave a hands on commentary that was very interesting, funny and educational. The evening tour was nice but was a word for word recorded message, so same information.

Very much regret choosing Big Bus - big disaster. The idea is great and routes are good the company just poorly executes it. They sell far too many seats then they can comfortably accommodate . My recommendation is chose one of the other providers that actually have frequency not falsely claim to have it. Not enough buses for the tickets they sell. I operate a large bus company in Australia and happy to support this review.

We got started on a off peak area right away in the morning and had the top for the entire duration, we didn’t get off as it was too busy so just rode and took pictures. They hit the all highlights so was fun to see. We got off at Kensington Palace to tour it and walked over to Buckingham. We had no issues with our tickets!

This is always such a great way to see the highlights of a city.
There were three different loops and they cover all of the main parts of London.
We paid extra to do the night tour and while it was nice seeing the city lit up… The route the bus drove was covering the exact same streets that you covered during the daytime. That was sort of a letdown that they didn’t think of a different route to take you on for the nighttime tour.
There’s also a note on the bottom of the ticket that says only one bus tour per evening… They did end up sending a second bus because we didn’t all fit on one bus. I’m not sure how many buses typically run each night And if they send a second or third depending on the number of people in line. We almost didn’t think we were going to get on the night tour!

We regret spending 88£ on this experience. The local buses came way more frequently than the big buses and we ended up only using the bus 1 time in order to make bookings at museums. If you do this tour, plan on staying on the bus and doing nothing else. If you have made plans or bookings, just take the overground or underground.

We were sitting in a half full bus upstairs in the warm weather. All of a sudden a guy comes to say that this bus has to stop and another bus is coming behind. Yes another bus did come, but it was well full already and we’re now forced to sit downstairs all just because they didn’t want to drive around with 1/2 full bus.
Very unsatisfied with the service.
