A fun bus tour that takes you to a lot of great spots around the city. The live tour with Candace was great! The bus needed to take a couple of detours around construction but Candace was able to give us information about additional buildings that weren’t on the original loop.

One of the bus driver- a lady, did an excellent job telling the history behind the places we drove by. I apologize I don’t know her name. We enjoyed that part of the tour very very much!

The tour is good lasting two hours and covering all the main sites in central Chicago. However it was spoiled by the commentary which appears to have been designed for ten-year olds. It’s difficult to pick out the important points from the unnecessary chatter such as “Guess what this person is famous for” or “Which celebrity stayed here?”. There’s also a lot of unnecessary music making it difficult to set the correct volume on the earphones.

Overall we were disappointed. The commentary via the headphones provided is really poor. Very little in the way of facts and information, it’s childish, to much music being played when information could be given and the way the information is presented (when you do get some) is truely awful (via a ‘quiz’, or ‘guess the celeb’), just give us facts about Chicago.
On one journey the driver was constantly talking over the commentary, really annoying.
With hindsight, would we do this bus tour……no.

Nicki in Chicago did a great job, was very kind and helpful. She was patient and courteous to customers as her shift ended. Was great seeing the Christmas lights from the comfort of a bus.

Brilliant bus tour! We got a two day ticket and it was really good. We caught the tour at the start (opposite the London House hotel) and it was easy to get a seat on the top deck on both days. The tour takes you to all of the important places in a quick and easy way. It’s easy to hop on/off at your own pace as the buses are regular. You get lots of useful info as you go round the city which you can choose to ignore or listen to (as you get a free set of headphones).
