Experience the samurai experience in a museum-like place with lots of armor on display!
You will choose your favorite kimono and hakama, change into a samurai costume, and learn how to use a sword from a samurai.
You will learn how to draw a sword, hold a sword, swing a sword, and retract a sword. After learning basic sword usage, they practice a simple chambara (sword fight).
Then we will try to exterminate bad guys to the music! You can take videos with your smart phone, take pictures with the samurai, and have a great samurai time.
The teachers are authentic teachers who have appeared in major Japanese dramas and movies.
Since you have come all the way to Japan on a trip, you will have a wonderful experience of Samurai culture!
The dojo has many weapons on display, including swords and spears. You will also find armor on display. Samurais are waiting for you in a space that does not seem modern.

this was so fun! I wish I could become a real samurai now. We learned to properly cut wind and fight bad guys and they use your phone to film you.

I think this should be a MUST DO on everyone's trip to Japan. The teachers were very good and friendly. This is one of the fondest memories we have of Japan.

It was so fun. My 21 year old son really liked being trained in sword handling. Many photo ops. Entertaining hosts that were serious and informative but also made it such fun. I did not participate but was allowed to watch and they dressed me for photo ops too. I highly recommend

Such a great experience. Lots to take in over a short period but the sequence you learn looks like you have been in a lesson for more than an hour. The instructors were very patient and enthusiastic. My children now think I'm a samurai warrior ??

The experience was really fun and informative, the hosts were very knowledgeable about samurai techniques. They gave a show and taught us the various techniques and even filmed our performance as well. Overall a very good experience and would recommend it.

Such a cool experience! Highly recommend. I reached out beforehand to be see if there would be a samurai outfit for my 4 year old. The team was very responsive and accommodating. It was very entertaining for all of us! The whole family enjoyed it including my 13 year old. They had such a blast performing and taking photos after. Thank you!
