The tour was great for staying only a day in Zurich. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was definitely worth it!

Comprehensive, educational and fun! Loved seeing the different areas of Zurich, especially from the ferry over the lake and from the top of the hill from the cable car and mountaintop restaurant. I was a hit with my family for booking this excursion for all of us!

Disappointment was the most memorable part of our tour. Me and my wife booked the tour through Viator, paid money and got confirmation. On the day at meeting point, both of us and a few more tourist were told that Viator has overbooked the tour and there is no space in the bus. All of us disappointed. All the money spent on traveling to Zürich and meeting point was wasted. Although Viator refunded the tour fee but traveling money and a day was wasted. I will not recommend Viator to family/ friends. This happened second time with me.

My problem is with Viator and Yo Tours. They booked me for an excursion that was already full. We walk all the way to the meeting point to find out we were not booked on the tour with the operator. I’m still in conversations with Viator to get refunded ! My advice is NEVER book a tour the day of. The only reason I did was we weren’t sure what time we would arrive in Zurich.

Guide was knowledgeable and provided clear commentary. We met a very nice couple from Sweden, which made the tour even more so pleasant.
The cable car ride was great and the restaurant at the top of the cable car ride had good food.

I was notified my tour was canceled the day we were supposed to go. I emailed back that we could do another tour they gave me the information and we could not make it. We went to where we were supposed to meet to talk to some one and they called tho tour company . We never heard back and I requested a refund and have not heard back, I book all the time with Viator and have never experienced this.

The tour that we were on was very nice we got to see a very anxious portion of the city. There was copious amounts of information about the area and how became to be. Took a first vehicle ferry ride on the beautiful water. Although we did not get to ride the cable car secondary to malfunctions, we went to visit the Lindt chocolate factory . All in all it was very casual, literally, and informative.

A tour that you do not want to miss !
After 5 months since we joined this tour, we still remembered most aspect of the tour. So you can imagine how good the tour was planned and carried out.
This tour has introduced to us many nice part of Zurich. Nice university, nice city, nice lake and nice hill… And of course nice people of Zurich.

It was a decent experience! It was overbooked tho (more than 24 people). Super packed in the cable car ad well! Very uncomfortable situation!

We were told no more than 25 on tour (there were 40) and a 90 min walking tour of old city (only 30)
