I have to say that this 3 hours was invaluable for anyone new to Lisbon. Guilherme was so helpful in so many ways... His tips about getting around some of the physical obstacles(Hills, hills, hills...), best places to try local foods, sites to see... those to skip and just the historical significance of Lisbon!
We wouldn't have appreciated all of its character if it weren't for him!
I highly recommend him if you're interested in why Lisbon is the way it is today.

We both loved the walking tour! Martin was our guide and he was very informative and answered many questions. He showed us some great shortcuts navigating the hills of Lisbon. We enjoyed the complimentary pastry and cod cake.

Filipa was warm, engaging, informative and professional whilst conveying a very relaxed vibe.
We covers a lot of the city, without it being excessively tiring.
I particularly enjoyed her knowledge of the Revolution in 1974, and the background history to that.
I could not see a face in our group who did not maintain their attention throughout.

Joana was a brilliant guide who really showed a great knowledge and passion for Lisbon and its amazing history. We loved the way she brought events in Lisbon's history to life through her great storytelling. We also loved finding the "secret elevators" - something we would never have discovered on our own, and the pace of the tour. Even though there was a huge range in the ages of group members, Joana ensured that the bits of walking were broken up so that everyone could participate. It was also nice to not be walking around in one of the huge tour groups - we were able to ask questions along the way and interact on a much more personal basis. Such an interesting morning and we highly recommend this great tour with Joana!
