Best of Kauai Movie Adventure Tour

A fun tour that starts from Lihue and goes along the east coast to the north shore. They show movies where they filmed in Kauai and you visit those locations. The 3 hour tour goes quickly watching movie clips, seeing the sights and eating lunch on our own.

The bus was great and the guide was informative and funny. It was a great tour. How can you go wrong touring Kauai?

At just over 6 hours, this is one of the shorter tours in Hawaii, but it certainly didn't disappoint. Kaleo, our guide for the day, made sure everyone felt welcome from the outset and had icebreaker activities to get everyone talking to each other within minutes. The small group size was an advantage.
Kaleo was also extremely prepared in advance. His move clips and stories were hugely entertaining and provided context and interest throughout the tour. His purpose was to educate as well as entertain and he didn't disappoint on either count.
Kauai is a stunningly beautiful island, so whilst you do not get to see all of it on this tour, you do get to see some beautiful locations including waterfalls, river valleys and quaint little towns. I wasn't familiar with some of the movies, especially the later ones, but it didn't matter as the movie clips showed you what you were seeing and were entertaining.
This was a thoroughly enjoyable tour and Kaleo made it so. 10/10

we loved our tour guide Ron. He was very knowledgeable and easy to understand.. He had great jokes. He provided ample time during scenic stops. unfortunately, we were not able to go through a few of designated scenic sites. Like the beach and a bridge.

Loved watching the movie clips and then visiting the actual locations in the clips. I was amazed at the number of movies that were filmed on Kauai! Our guide was easy to understand and gave us some fun insights into the productions and locations. I would highly recommend this tour.

So many interesting locations and Ron even added in other little tie bits. Was great! Ron even had a restaurant to eat at that was related to the tour.

Movie clips on screen coordinated with stops at actual locations of the clips. Guide very knowledgeable and seems to enjoy the movies.

First of all the link on the paper for the review is for a totally separate tour and after going on it, I know why.

Kauai movie tour was absolutely terrible. Do not recommend. What a waste of a day. Two hours stuck in traffic. People coughing everywhere on the busses. 7 hours. They just play clips of movies that filmed here or mentioned it. You don’t see any of it really. Such a total waste. Then they took us to hanalei and almost everything was closed and didn’t open until 3. We didn’t make it to the other side of the island either and that’s where a lot of the falls were. Disney really needs to drop this one.

I loved Kilauea. However, everywhere else was pretty amazing too! Cousin Harry was a wonderful tour guide. Loved the movie clips that are played during the tour! Kauai is my favorite Hawaiian island!
