Best Iconic West and East Nusa Penida Island Tour

I done the wonderful thing in bali is booking my trip with Bali Golden tour. We are 4 family members travelled bali in December. Trip operator took care of us very well from day one to last day of the tour. Each and every questions are clarified immediately and they flexible to customize the trip schedule. We got great Driver Gade Andika, he is so patience with us and provided lot of information about Bali and their lifestyle. I will much recommend this driver to everyone.

Hi, I would like to say huge thanks to Bali golden tour and our tour guide (dek anom and de tirta) highly recommended to join their tour
Golden tour is the best value of all as include both west and east penida.
After confirm the booking. The organiser is kind enough to offer payment only on travel date. They are very accommodative and very responsive.
On the exact tour day, Dek Anom in charge of fetching us to harbour from hotel. He is a very professional driver.
To our surprise, he follow us to the island to meet De Tirta (who is driver and photographer of nusa penida island) Dek Anom follow us the whole journey to make sure everything runs smooth.
On the island, De Tirta and Dek Anom both manage time properly. Even though we go to many places, but we don't feel the rush. They know exactly where is the right spot to take photo. They know where is safe and where is unsafe to venture. They even queue for us at the tree house. During the waiting, De Tirta recommended few spot for us to take nice photo.
They are very experience in avoiding crowd. Perfectly shortened the waiting time. For all the spot we don't feel like we are wasting time to take photo as there r so many spots that can take photo recommended by tour guide.
All of our photo are taken by them. I brought a professional camera but in the end I trust their experience by using smartphone haha.
This tour is highly recommended for couple who are only going to Bali for few days.
Overall very wonderful experience. Thanks to our tour guide for making our trip so memorable

We are Tunisian couple, we haven’t idea about Bali, we choice following reviews 3 excursions included with private car with driver, lunch, bottle water and ticket to access the sites will visite:
1- Besakih Temple, Lempuyang Temple and Tirta Gangga water palace
2- Tour Batur Sunrise hike and natural spring.
3- Tours West and east Nusa Penida.
We programmed a taxi to pick us up the Denpasar airport.
When we arrived at the airport, we found the driver in time.
Now my opinion it’s great excursion successful and our driver is also our guide, the car is clean

Spectacular views, really happy that we booked this tour for our 1st trip to Bali as a day excursion. Nyoman and Ketut were our drivers for in Bali and Nusa Penida and they were both great: spoke English well, looked after us along the way, Ketut even helped us take some IG-worthy photos and videos :)) We had Indonesian fried noodle for lunch and it was good enough considering we were in a rural area.

Just a note for other travellers who are doing this trip for the 1st time that you're visiting the whole island in 1 day, so expect time spent at each location is quite brief due to long travelling time between locations (roughly about 1hr+). If you prefer exploring each location thoroughly at your own pace (like walking down the Kelingking Beach cliff path or spending decent time to swim at Diamond Beach) then you best take 2-3 day tour instead to visit all these 4 locations.

Nusa penida is still relatively new, but the places you're taken to on this tour are mind blowing.
Be prepared for some mammoth sized steps and in the heat also is a killer! The pictures and viewpoints/photo spots you're taken to is definitely worth it so would highly recommend. Always people there to take pictures for you if you're a solo traveller so don't fret ?

Amazing time with Bali Golden Tour! Had two drivers (one in Nusa Penida, one on main island) who are both super nice! Kedak (x2, they had the same name) are very professional with amazing driving up and down the island (it was not easy). And they kept company during the trip, friendly and professional. They helped take lots of nice photos, showed all the good spots, and were really nice tour guide. Also very efficient and hit all the places I wanted to go to for the tour, I think one of the best itinerary out there! :-) and it was safe, and on time, which is very important.

I have to specially thank Adika from reservations, too, Bali Golden tour was willing to accommodate a special request of mine, to see Broken Beach. All in all, very happy!! Very pleased and had a lot of fun. As a picky customer, I highly recommend this tour and the tour company for Bali.

This tour could hardly be called a tour - the tour guide new nothing about the island and slept the entire drive around the island. The driver we had on the island grew up on the island however didn't know any English, and our 'tour guide' being asleep the entire time therefore couldn't translate. I would re-brand this tour 'Instagram photoshoot', not a 'tour', which we were expecting the latter.

Pro's:
- Some nice photos, the driver on the island knew all the tricks
- Lunch was nice

Con's:
- Tour guide isn't a tour guide, asleep the entire time, when awake he kept pushing to offer his taxi services to us while we were in Bali.
- Tour guide constantly texting while driving
- The actual island felt crowded and unsafe in a lot of the photo spots, I would avoid the island all together (unless snorkelling - may be better?)
- There was no transparency with the tour, and a lot of photos we had to pay 'extra' for, including the tree house. This was a bit of shock and found it quite rude that this tour is marketed to have no extra fee's yet there is. With the tour already being quite pricey for what it is, these extra fee's should already be included.

Avoid this tour and island imo.

We had a great time with Putu Oka! His English is great and has so much knowledge of the history of Bali. Also very friendly and offered to take us to more locations since we finished our trip early.

Kartik was a good driver and guide, as was the additional guide we met in Nusa Penida who took amazing photos of us at each site! Lunch was also good, with a choice between lots of different Indonesian dishes including chicken satay. Would recommend this tour!

I would rate the whole experience a five star. I was picked on time by Jony. He had arrived 30mins early and was waiting for me in the lobby. He drove us safely to the Sanur port and came along with us. Putra picked us up at the Nusa penida port. Jony and Putra both were amazing and we reached all the spots before the scheduled time. They waited in the queue to take our picture while telling us to relax and enjoy the view. We didn’t have to stand in the queue and they made sure we were okay at all times. All thanks to the boys. We had plenty of time to visit all the spots and they both had legendary driving skills. Everything went very smooth and perfect even the boat ride. We reached sanur port and back to the hotel on time. Overall it was worth the price and amazing.
