Beautiful kayaking! You make two or three stops along the way, and the guide tells you some history of the island, about the flora / fauna etc. At the end of the tour, you have time to swim at the final beach which is large and absolutely gorgeous. Would go again! If I could suggest any changes to the tour, skip the first beach landing. It’s too small of an area for as many kayaks. Other than that it was a lovely tour.

We traveled to Bermuda via cruise ship and booked this excursion through Viator for the morning of our last day on the island. We left the Dockyard at 9 and returned around 12:30. Tony, the captain, was funny and knowledgeable. He said his boat was the fastest and it was hilarious when he opened the throttle which caused a massive amount of sea spray onto the boat! Everyone got soaked! Tony would slow down from time to time to point out interesting facts about the island. When we got to the cove where we would begin our kayak adventure we had a short walk to the beach. There was a shed where we could store our belongings and get paddles, life jackets, and bottled water. Tony gave all of us a short lesson on how to paddle and steer the kayaks and then we were off. We paddled to a small beach where we got out of our kayaks and Tony told us about the plants, animals, and insects on the island. After getting back in our kayaks we paddled to another area where we learned about the limestone rocks which are prevalent throughout the island. After this stop we followed Tony and his assistant and paddled our way around islands and along shorelines until we returned to where we started. Once we returned all our equipment we enjoyed ourselves for a period of free swim time. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that they didn’t show us how to adjust the seat position on the kayaks. My husband and son are tall and would have been more comfortable if their seats in the back could have been adjusted to allow their legs to stretch out more. Other than that this excursion was a lot of fun and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get some exercise while learning about the history and ecosystems of the island.

Bermuda is beautiful and you can’t go wrong kayaking in the ocean, however, our tour guide did not have much personality and it felt rushed. You will learn about the eco system of Bermuda. You will likely get soaked in the boat ride to the location so make sure you have a dry bag for your towel and belongings.
