We really enjoyed seeing the sights of Berlin but the highlight was the deep knowledge of our guide Thomas. It was apparent that he was very passionate about his work and took pride in doing research on the subject so that he would not give us any incorrect information.

Had a wonderful time with Thomas who provided us great insights to the history of the city. He is extremely knowledgeable about the city and it helped us appreciate the sites a lot more.
He was also flexible to plan this around the places we wanted to visit, without having a set agenda - that is a true example of a custom tour.
Will be sure to repeat this in near future with our family!

What a great way to see Berlin! The convenience of a private tour allowed us to go at our own pace while still seeing so much of the city, both East and West. Thomas was knowledgeable and informative. He let us know his unvarnished views on the current state of Germany which was insightful. We stopped for lunch at a great local spot and he had us back for our transfer just at the agreed upon time. Would recommend this tour to others.

Thomas was an excellent guide. He was extremely efficient with time, parking, bathroom breaks, water bottles, site visits and the many laminated teaching aides he had available to pass around the car (see attached sample). The things we learned from his words and the thoughts that they inspired will last a lifetime. My teenagers were engaged and left motivated to learn more, be better and make a difference. What else could a parent ask for? Probably the most interesting part of the day for me was asking Thomas about his perspective from being born and raised in East Germany before the wall came down. Wow. What a treat for me to hear his candid and moving words. It was just an incredible day!! Message me for details....

This was a wonderful tour. Thomas our guide was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable. We saw all the important sites of Berlin and Thomas gave us great insights into the history of the city. Thomas was also very accommodating. We asked if he could bring us to a certain cemetery to find our ancestors’ gravesites. He immediately agreed and waited outside while we searched for the sites. When we mentioned we’d like to make a trip to Sans Souci castle in Potsdam, he reorganized his day to extend our tour so he could drive us to Potsdam. He then dropped us off at the end of the day at the home of our relatives who had invited us to dinner that night. Thomas was also very solicitous and helpful with our 87- year old mother who needed to use a walker wherever we went. I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this tour and especially the tour guide.

Amazing! Thomas was wonderful. He showed us things that we would’ve never been able to see on our own. The knowledge he shared with us about Berlin was extremely educational. In our short stint of 5 hours in Berlin we actually felt like we have an understanding of the people. Thank you Thomas, you were fabulous...we will be back and we will book with Thomas again!
