Guests will get the experience of sailing like a Viking. The ship itself is a direct descendant of the Viking Age. There are very few of these vessels in existence and almost none available for public participation. It's a tour full of excitement, rich in history, and truly a unique and interactive experience.

If you just want to go out the harbour slightly the.man this is the trip for you. The ship and the tour left me very underwhelmed especially at the price for the tour.

Very enjoyable time sailing in the harbor with a small group. Didn't expect to hoist an old fashioned sail. A pleasant change from the too long, overcrowded, fjord trips. Matt was an excellent host.

Exactly like advertised: a good sailing boat experience around Bergen’s harbour. Everything was done seriously. Zach lended a fishing rod and the people aboard even got 5 fishes during the trip :-) we were lucky we did not have rain during the tour…

A memorable great experience for our family, we enjoyed the boat and the kids they even had a chance to do some fishing. Very cool boat and a very friendly captain. Highly recommend the trip if you are in Bergen.

A great and memorable experience, the Viking boat sailed beautifully on a nice breezy afternoon. Captain Zach is a pro sailor and has lovingly restored this craft. You can help with the sails or just enjoy the ride. Best experience during my time in Bergen!

We had a memorable experience with Zach on his Viking style boat in Bergen! We were a group of 9 with some young men aboard and we knew this would be fun for them. Zach is an experienced sailer and the boat was as close as you will get to being in something like a Viking boat. Zach encouraged anyone who wanted to to help hoist the sail, steer the boat and fish for mackerel. The boat was comfortable for a short trip around the bay and Zach had snacks available and answered all our questions. Worth the money for an introduction to sailing here and everyone agreed they had a great time and enjoyed the more intimate experience.
