Had a lovely time and felt like we saw the main sights in Ushuaia - definitely the thing to do. We saw some sea lions but not too many and the lighthouse of course. We it was a little overpriced for what it was. We got a tour in Punta Arenas to Magdalen’s Island for the penguins and ended up seeing way more sea lions on this one!

Smooth ride. Pleasantly surprised by trekking at the end of the day. I think the variety of wildlife was somewhat limited (sea lions and cormorants). I, personally, would have preferred to see a tour that took in the penguinos.

We had an unbeatable day to sail, we chose Tolkeyen, and we sailed on the Explorer, it is the largest in the port, beautiful views, very good guide and beautiful photos.
This walk is a yes or yes in Usuhaia.

The allotted time for this tour was good- not too short and not too long. However, the price was above the market price that can easily be obtained at the dock.

We left Ushuaia then rounded the lighthouse and entered the Beagle Channel. Here the sea was quite 'lumpy' but soon smoothed out in time for us to see all the glaciers. Fortunately our stateroom was on the starboard side of the ship so we had an excellent view from our balcony. As we passed each of the five glaciers we had a commentary on our TV from the cruise Entertainments Director which made it all the more spectacular.

When your cruise ship pulls up at the pier in Ushuaia, you’ll find tons of catamarans docked and waiting to take passengers on a scenic boat ride. Our ride took us to see several small islands, one with sea lions basking in the sun and one with tons of cormorants. You get quite close to the wildlife. We also stopped at an exhibit showing what the primitive inhabitants of the area looked like. You can also climb a small rise for a view of the surrounding area.

This was a nice and scenic introduction to the Beagle Channel. We took the morning departure, offered by All Patagonia. Be aware you have to check in at a little building on the waterfront near the pier, as stated in the reservation information you receive. Next you have to enter another building and pay a fee to access the pier. Then you walk down the pier to the boat itself. So be sure to allow plenty of time. Many people arrive early to get indoor seating next to the windows, but in any case you can get good pictures by going outdoors on the deck or through the extra-large windows as people get up from their seats. The tour itself was as advertised. We passed by little islands with cormorants, sea lions and the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. Then we stopped on Bridges Island and walked around for a few minutes. The tour guide did a bilingual commentary in Spanish and English. A professional photographer was on board and offered souvenir pictures of each group, plus additional photos of the tour highlights and the whole area. My only regret was not being prepared for the high winds outside. My favorite hat blew away while I was trying to take a picture.
