I mena, it's a virgin island but they tell you "we have all these animals!" but you see at most some crabs, which were actually cool, but that was it and some birds. The beach isn't even that nice.

Since I stay in Tulum My pick up time was 5:30am , its way too early , then when we arrived to Cancun we had to wait 1h for another bus with people and boat ! What a point was to do such early pick up ?? I was restless, slept only few h, because of the jet leg! Breakfast in Cancun was very poor , only some fruits, and bread without anything lol and drinks . And it was too packed, to many people !
First island was beautiful, but we stayed way too long there, there was not so much to see, or to do , dirty and smelly toilets , nowhere to wash your hands with soap , I had my period and it was not very comfortable… then we went to another island , which I didn’t like at all , packed with tourists, nothing to see , beach same as everywhere else , not impressive at all, very average….
Our guide was drinking tequila the whole tour, on the front of children, not sure how professional it is….
And the last one boat was very bad quality , it was shaking all the way, jumping , I felt sick and got migraine and anxiety on the end ….
Don’t waste your time and better book tour with someone else .

The snorkeling was great. Lots of fish, a turtle, manta ray and a sting ray. The negatives the company booked our transportation back to our resort 2.5 hours after the tour. We ended up having to pay for a cab back to our resort which was very expensive. The tour operator mildly harassed the fish to get them to come out so people could see them. Not a fan of this behaviour.

Pick up time - they came to our lobby few minutes earlier, then we were taken to the pier to wait for the rest of the group (waited an hour).
Boat - this tour included 2 groups: English and Polish. It was packed to say the least.
Isla Contoy - we went in December and the mosquitoes were everywhere. Can't wear sunscreen or bug spray. They tell you this right when they pick you up at the hotel. With the number of mosquitoes and how strong the sun is, I wish they'd allow us to use eco-friendly sunscreen or bug spray because those things do exist to protect the marine lives. It was not an option. They served us tasty lunch meals, so that was the highlight.
Choppy water - this isn't the company's fault, nor could they control it. But when I say choppy, I mean you will be holding onto the rail the entire trip. Otherwise, you'd fly right off the boat. Few of us got seasick, so bring enough Dramamine (you'll need more than 2 since one way is 40-45mins boat ride).
Snorkeling is not a promise but if you do go, you literally have to swim like you're on a competition. They gave you 20 minutes, and you must follow the group. I looked down into the water every 30 seconds because I was terrified to lose them since the current was strong. Anyway, there wasn't much to see. You'll have a better snorkling experience in Akumal or Cozumel.
Isla Mujeres - crowded and touristy place. Gave us an hour to explore but I wish it was a different island or at least took us to other parts of the Isla Mujeres (ie south area).
I'm giving the company 5 stars because the company accommodated my flexibility. I probably changed at least twice, and yet was able to do it without having a hard time.
Overall, the experience is 4-stars for us. I wouldn't advertise this as snorkeling tour at all.

Isla Contoy is a protected Mexican National park filled with native plants and birds. It happens to be next to the largest coral reef outside of Australia. It is also the nesting ground for sea turtles and Frigate birds. When the tour guide is passionate, knowledgeable and articulate like John Paul, you learn a lot. Thank you.

Beautiful island! Absolutely enjoyed my time on this tour! Great food, great entertainment from the crew and snorkeling was also really fun!
I would mostly recommend for groups/couples/families and not solo travellers as most people are in groups already

The highlight of my trip to Cancun! I will definitely remember this excursion for a lifetime. My hotel pickup was prompt, but we did ride around for about an hour, picking up others. My guide Coco was amazing and very knowledgeable. He always kept our group informed—I was solo but never felt alone. Isla Contoy was absolutely beautiful and lunch was so delicious. Isla Mujeres was not my speed, but others may like it (too busy and crowded). I also really wanted a Isla Contoy sweatshirt, but unfortunately, Apple Pay was not accepted. Overall I am so grateful for this experience!

Giving them 5 stars even though my husband and I were unable to attend the tour, which we were soooo looking forward to. They picked us up right on time and I unfortunately had a medical emergency in the van. The driver, Diego, not only rushed me to the hospital BUT he stayed with my husband and I for hours to translate for us and the doctors. He did this out of the kindness of his heart. He really helped keep my husband calm and made sure our safety was put first. Diego- thank you so much for what you did. We both felt so much better with you there. You didn't leave us, and make sure we made it back to the hotel. We will for sure come back and request you directly when we come back in February to do all the tours we weren't able to. This company didn't make any money off of my husband and I, yet they made sure we were ok, safe and clear with doctors orders. For the other people in the van, I'm so sorry you had to deal with what you did. I hope you both ended up having an amazing time. We will be back!

Great tour and staff were very attentive. Everything was well explained and the day was packed with fun and enjoyment. As others have said Isla Contoy is remarkable and a must visit!
