Batik Painting is a wonderful form of hand painting fabrics. The outline is delicately drawn out using hot wax. Then the dye is applied over selected areas. Finally when the wax is washed off, the outline will remain a different color. The result as you can see is absolutely satisfying. It is fun to try something new and also makes a lovely souvenier during your trip in Bali.

The fabric was so wrinkled it was hard to draw on. They could press them and leave them hanging. The pictures to trace were In a pile instead of a sleeve file and were very awkward to look through. The fabric was connected to the paper with two pegs rather than held firmly with masking tape. As an artist all this was frustrating.

What a lovely way to spend a few hours; there are so many stencils to choose from it took a while, but once I started it was so relaxing. Was really nice to learn something new and was very relaxing once you were focused on applying the way.
Staff were all lovely and so helpful throughout; I'm really pleased with my painting and may well look in to buying some equipment to do this again at home.

Batik painting is a very good experience for who like painting. I painted picture fast in 1 lesson, for me to better batik painting you need more 3-4 lesson.

This was a perfect way to spend my final full day in Bali! It was a lovely experience and I came away with a sarong of my own creation. The instructors are wonderful, and ensure that every participant succeeds.

The tour contacts were quite helpful with arranging transportation at a reasonable rate to and from the location.
The instructions were quite clear and they helped ensure a successful batik end product. All the staff were quite helpful and pleasant. The water and snacks were greatly appreciated. The amount of time allocated was perfect with no feeling of being rushed.

The facilitators were friendly and helpful, and instructions were clear. We were offered refreshments and made our own piece to take home, from start to finish. Their little crystal shop was also beautiful. I enjoyed every minute of this experience
