This tour is perfect for those wanting to do some sightseeing off the beaten track in a fun way. Enjoy the adventure of driving a Quad Bike or Buggy through an authentic part of Bali, either by driving your self or by joining as a co-pilot, through all kinds of terrain; passing rice fields, plantations, crossing the jungle, muddy tracks and a traditional Balinese village. The quad bikes and buggies can be combined in the same tour as both vehicles use the same tracks. You will start with a video instruction and hands-on training by our professional guides, after which you will get driving practice on our training circuit. Once familiar with the vehicle, an exiting off-road tour starts through an authentic part of Bali. The approx. 1-hour trip is suitable for thrill seekers and families alike. The tour furthermore includes a welcome drink, coffee, tea, traditional snacks, medical insurance, free use of lockers and changing rooms, hot and cold shower facilities (towels and soap provided)

Almost new car and good English speaking driver. The drive to the site is varied in terms of nature. When we arrived we were welcomed by the team with coffee/tea. After the very clear instruction video, a test round is first made in the Buggy (which was ready spic and span) to see whether you can drive the Buggy properly. Members of the team are watching your actions. SAFETY is number 1 at this club!!
Because it was raining, full rain suits were provided. During the entire trip, one guide rides in the lead in a quad bike and another last. Because it rained continuously, the name Discovery Tours was fully lived up to. Steep paths up and down, descended through a small waterfall. Upon return, we had the opportunity to take a shower, which in our case (even though it was warm rainwater) was nice. Then an Indian buffet. Well cared for. Then back by taxi. All in all, a full day of Discovery with a capital D.

Heyyy this was so fun! My companion said she really needed goggles but I had my sunglasses on and had a ball. The trek was through a local village and through rice fields and farms. It was amazing to see and the kids were so cute running around and waving to us. I’m not a big adrenaline seeker so this was the perfect mix of adventure and exploration. Our guide even let my friend try out his vehicle and he drove me and lawd lol very exciting! Had a blast.

This was one of the best things we did in Ubud! Brilliant from start to finish!
The safety instructions were clear and straightforward and we got to have a test drive on the quads around the training track before we set off. I was really glad of this as I was a first time quad driver and they are quite bulky and different to manoeuvre. The instructors were friendly and helpful and helped me to feel comfortable and confident in driving alone but there is also an option to drive with an instructor or use a buggy instead.
The route we drove was beautiful - it wad tropical and lush and just absolutely stunning. It was just me and my husband and two instructors and we felt completely safe the whole time. The instructors told us all about the local area, we stopped off in their villages and even met some of their family members.
A highlight was one of our instructors climbing a coconut tree to pick us fresh coconuts which they opened for us and we enjoyed in the jungle. He even ventured off into his uncles farm land to pick us some fresh fruit and gave us some to take away with us - you just couldn’t ask for more.
When we got back to the centre the most delicious lunch had been made for us, a selection of Indonesian dishes and little goodie bags with bottles brinks and sweet treats in them.
There was a photographer on route taking photos but unfortunately their laptop system wasn’t working and we couldn’t purchase any. It didn’t matter though as our guides took lots of photos on our phones for us along the way.
A must do in Ubud and this is certainly the best company to do it with!

We done the buggy tour there was 6 of us . We had a great time . Would recommend trying this while in Bali

We had a fantastic day. Picked up in nice clean car. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The buggy's were great. The track was lots of fun, with plenty of hills, tight corners etc. Lots of lovely scenery as well. The looks on my son's faces at the end was priceless. Would definately recommend, especially if you dislike quad bikes, like me.
