Really enjoyable and interesting tour to give you a taste of Bali's nature, culture and crafts. My guide Margot was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he spoke perfect English. We talked about Balinese and Indonesian history, languages, customs and beliefs while exploring the countryside, temples, artisan studios and famous destinations like the rice terraces.
Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Bali with an amazing local guide! Bonus - Margot takes really good photos!

What a fantastic day we had on this tour. Our tour guide and driver Arya was superb. He’s a true ambassador for Bali. He is so knowledgeable about the sights we saw and to the Balanese culture. We loved the way he told us tales associated with the culture and religions. He kept us safe and on time with our visits. I’d definitely ask for him again when we go back to Bali.

We were so fortunate and grateful to have Margot as our guide for the day. Immediately as the trip started it felt like we were being accompanied by a friend. Margot took us around all the sights in the itinerary strategically to get the most out of our time. He knew every stop inside and out to avoid the crowds and traffic. At every stop along the way he was full of information about the history and culture of the sights and the conversation was amazing. You would also think the man is a professional photographer as he knew how to capture all of the beauty of Ubud for us. He came prepared in every way and even handed us food in the monkey forest and coordinated to have monkeys climb on us for a picture. This was an unforgettable experience. We are so grateful to Margot for helping us to create memories that will stay with us forever.

Booked last minute the night before and they were accommodating. I ended up being the only one in the group and had a one-on-one guide with Margot! He was fantastic throughout the day and very knowledgeable. I'll be in Bali for 3 more weeks so it was nice to do this tour in the beginning because I learned so much from Margot about Bali and Indonesia so that I am more conscious and aware of their culture. We talked about everything from agriculture to cost of living to religion as well as a few personal things about himself. He helped me really appreciate each experience I had, not to mention he's the best photographer! Other people were seeing how his photos turned out and couldn't resist asking him to take their photos as well. He makes a great effort to avoid the busiest routes and paths so it makes your experience seem more personal. This was in April so maybe it's easier to do when there aren't throngs of people around every corner. If you can, ask for Margot! He was all smiles and laughter the entire day and will help you do the same :)

We had an amazing day made even better by our guide Margot. His knowledge and enthusiasm about the culture in Bali made it a fully immersive experience. I hate tourist set-ups where you are basically being shuttled into an overpriced gift shop. Tour of temple and the coffee plantation were my highlights as well as the scenery at the rice terraces (minus preening tourists).
A decent introduction to today’s Bali.

This was an experience we will never forget. Our driver, Arya, went above and beyond to make our day full of knowledge, fun and passion about Bali! He was so kind and had an incredible depth of knowledge about Bali, its history, its people and culture, even for places that weren’t on the tour list. I hope more people come and book their tour here and get Arya as their driver because he made our entire day beautiful and full of happiness.
