Ken was a very attentive guide. Arriving at the last temple by boat and seeing it at sunset and with the lights after dark truly is a unique experience.

The sunset tour was the highlight, in a small boat on the river with fantastic photo opportunities, but to this add the beautiful palace, the Golden Buddha, the giant ancient reclining Buddha, the Buddha in a tree miraculously intact after five centuries, and the history of Ayutthaya related by our competent guide to make the place come alive. Travel to and from Bangkok takes over an hour each way, but in the air-conditioned comfort of the provided car time went by quickly.

Tour guide, Pailin, was super friendly and very knowledgeable. Learnt a lot. Perfect amount of time for looking around the different sites, and the river boat ride was a wonderful way to end it. Would highly recommend!

Brilliant additional tour to take whilst staying in Bangkok. Arrived at our hotel on time in mini-van. Really friendly and informative tour guides. We drove to the first Temple site in Ayutthaya which was beautiful and one of the guides was happy to take photographs for us. We then drove to the river to board the river boat for our cruise which was terrific, passing village life beside the banks and seeing many temple structures along the way. As sunset approached we arrived at our second temple site where we had time to explore. We were then taken to a restaurant for a very nice early evening dinner complete with a rice desert. Unfortunately the trip was marred when told that this was the end of the trip and that we would be driven back to our hotels - our trip did not match the tour itinerary as sold to us and everyone was EXTREMELY disappointed to learn that we would not be visiting the Reclining Buddha at Wat Loykaya Sutha or the 'Buddha head in tree' at Wat Maha That Temple.
