1. Avila
Check in at our office in central Madrid 15 minutes in advance of your tour. Leave the city towards Ávila aboard one of our air-conditioned coaches. Our first stop for the day will be at the city of Ávila, one of the best preserved fortifications in Spain. Follow your guide on a walking tour of the Old Town to discover the impressive history of this city. See Romanesque style churches, Gothic palaces and a fortified cathedral of the Middle Ages. Visit the Walls of Ávila and imagine the stories they have seen through the centuries. Marvel at the fortification and towers, which have granted the city a World Heritage Site status by UNESCO. You will be given free time to explore on your own.
2. Casco Historico de Avila
Our first stop for the day will be at the city of Ávila, one of the best-preserved fortifications in Spain. Follow your guide on a walking tour of the Old Town to discover the impressive history of this city. See Romanesque style churches, Gothic palaces and a fortified cathedral of the Middle Ages.
3. Las Murallas de Avila
Visit the Walls of Ávila and imagine the stories they have seen through the centuries. Marvel at the fortification and towers, which have granted the city a World Heritage Site status by UNESCO.
4. Segovia
We will continue the tour to Segovia. On arrival, we will divide in different groups. If you have chosen the option to visit Segovia at your own pace, you will have approximately three hours of free time. If you have chosen the option with monuments, you’ll have approximately one hour of free time to have lunch on your own. The rest of the group will go to the restaurant to enjoy a lunch with roast suckling pig that will not leave you indifferent.
5. Cathedral of Segovia
After lunch, those who have chosen the tour with monuments will meet again with the guide to start the tour in Segovia. Walk through the old Jewish quarter of the city, visit the outside of the Cathedral and walk towards the Alcazar of Segovia.
6. Alcazar of Segovia
Enjoy a guided tour inside the castle and marvel at this spectacular fortification. Did you know that its architecture inspired Walt Disney for one of his films? Can you tell us which one?
7. Segovia
If you have visited Segovia on your own, meet the rest of the group at the agreed time to return to Madrid.

Lovely time spent in Avila and Segovia.

Kathia was helpful when my audio unit was not connecting to the her unit it was locked with the Spanish group, so she made sure I was next to her to hear the tour when she spoke.

The views of Avila and Segovia were beautiful and it was very enjoyable.
The restaurant that we visited was also great the dessert was amazing.

Very much recommended as a day out and though only a few hours was spent in each town it was enough to see the main sights.

Spectacular places, each one with its particularity. It's worth the trip. Segovia deserves a full day to explore it better.
As an improvement, the audio would have to be improved since it was very loud and the headphones caused a lot of interference. Thank you

Once again I took the tour with Julia Travel. Katie, the guide, took us to all the points, giving explanations in Spanish and English, which helped me a lot to understand everything, as well as being very fun and attentive. The landscapes are beautiful and are certainly worth visiting. I suggest the option with lunch, I went without and the price difference wasn't even that much. The only point of improvement is that as the group was quite large; The pace was a little slow and we didn't have much free time to buy souvenirs in places. Anyway, I highly recommend the company and the tour.
