6. Acueduct of Segovia

This was a great tour overall. Rafael and Sara were excellent tour guides - super knowledgeable, engaging to listen to, and very personable. The group was large but split into two, one with each guide, and each in English. The day is long and expect lots of time spent on the bus, about an hour to an hour and a half between all of the cities. Aside from some explanations as we were leaving Madrid, the rest of the time there was no talking so it's easy to nap if you want, and the bus was comfortable. Also expect a lot of walking and cobblestone streets, so you definitely need comfortable walking shoes. The tour was well paced with appropriate time for coffee/water breaks, exploring and taking pictures on your own before reuniting with the group at a designated place and time, before moving on.

My only gripe is that it could have been clearer when booking that entrance fees to many of the sights (cathedrals, Alcázar in Segovia, and others) were not included in what I paid through Viator. The tour guides gave the option to add that on when we got on the bus, and I ended up paying an extra $26 per person. Based on the signs that I saw for entrance fees when we walked in, I really don't think everything added up to $26 so not sure where that number came from. Still, I felt the added fee was worth it to be able to go inside the monuments and learn from the tour guides. Moral of the story, check to confirm if entrance tickets to the monuments are included when you book online. I don't believe I even had an option to include that at the time of booking.

This day trip was great, nice views, lots of history. The guides Sarah and Rafa were kind, fun, open for questions and very informative. De bus driver drove safe.

The tour was fantastic. I had the opportunity to visit and explore many major sites. Rafael was exceptional and made the tour both engaging and enjoyable. The only drawbacks were the limited time for taking photos and doing some shopping.

A very well organised tour. Comfortable bus, friendly tour guides. Most importantly; fantastic sights and history. The large tour group was split into three smaller groups. We had the lovely Sarah as our guide. She was informative, friendly and took good care of the entire group.
The tour got the balance right between guide-led information sessions (walks) and free time to explore a little more by ourselves.
We really enjoyed the day and would recommend to others.
