Begin the trip to Coimbra, a Portuguese city located in central Portugal and the country's old capital, houses a preserved medieval old town and the historic University of Coimbra.
The second city to visit is Aveiro, a city on the waterfront is considered the small Venice of Portugal. It is an important urban center, port, rail, university and tourist.

This is a great tour. The drive is beautiful and Aviero, Costa nova, Coimbra are unique in each of their own ways. Our tour guide, Lily, really knew the sites and knew exactly what to present to us. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating, and it was raining quite a bit, but she was able to modify the agenda to ensure that we still saw some useful sites and was even kind enough to ensure we had umbrellas and minimized our time in the rain while still being able to see the various cities. Coimbra was incredible between the museum and the university- simply stunning. It’s hard to fathom how the structures were built so long ago. You are completely overwhelmed when you see it in person.

We highly recommend taking a tour with Ines! She was friendly, kind and helpful throughout the tour. She was also extremely knowledgeable, happy to answer every question we had about Portugal and doing everything she could to make our tour meaningful and enjoyable!

We hade a lovely trip out to Aveiro and Coimbre and a boat ride on the canal. The driver was very nice and did a very good job. In spite of pouring rain on the highway, the driver was very cautious and did an excellent job driving and getting us back and forth to Porto.

Great tour, with several interesting attractions, comfortable car, water and umbrella available. Despite the rain during the day, our guide Liliana was very attentive and welcoming. He gave us great tips to enjoy the day and the rest of our stay.

We enjoyed the tour very much. It was a relaxing trip visiting the interesting cities of Aveiro and Coimbra. It was especially fun to visit the unique library in University of Coimbra and cruising in the moliceiro boat. Ines is a great tour guide. She is very knowledgeable about the history of the country and the cities. We learned a lot from her as she explained to us in details about Portugal. She is an excellent English communicator who gave good conversation and made our car ride relaxing and comfortable.

It was the very best daytrip in Porto ever!
Our guide, João Jesus is a very charming person, he guided us throug the Coimbra old city with all its trasuries and commented interesting details. Then we continied to Aveiro, a nice sea side beauty with cannals and boats .
All in all the best trip we did so far in Porto, thanks to João Jesus, who made it a perfect day!

The tour was excellent. Our guide Liliana was great, she was very knowledgeable and nice, and made every possible effort to make us comfortable and learn about history, traditions and intetesting facts about all the places we visited.
