The chef was a fabulous teacher incorporating everyone into the cooking. It was hands-on and lots of fun. We started with a walk to a nearby market and had the chance to taste a variety of Mexican foods. Then we cooked a tasty 4 course lunch. I will take another class with this company the next time I am in Mexico City.

We had an incredible time at the cooking class definitely one of a kind experience. Garciela the host and owner was so gracious with her time and was so sweet. The market experience was one of a kind. We made white mole and vegetable tamales which were delicious.

As an 8-year teacher, I'm so impressed with the curriculum and pedagogy of the class. Everything was thought out and managed; so for an activity that could be stressful - cooking in a group - it was, in fact, calming and fun. Just today, a few days after the class, my wife, 2 kids, and I made sopes. Thank you!

Fabulous and very well orchestrated cooking class. Pilar was a fabulous instructor … so kind as well as instructive.
We learned a lot about Mexican foods, their history and had a delicious meal.

This is an extraordinarily well organized and executed experience in a charming space. Lorena was a delightful, informative and helpful host and her kitchen help was also wonderful. We learned, enjoyed the company of the other attendees and prepared and ate a delicious Mexican meal.

Lorena was amazing! The kitchen and dinning area is such a fun work space. Clean and fun the whole day through. Would do it again!

This was a fantastic experience to add to our company retreat in Mexico City. It was great to share the class with co-workers, but don’t be shy to come on your own,
as you’re sure to make some new friends, like we did. Our very knowledgeable and talented chef, Loraina broke down the steps of a four-course meal that can be easily followed by someone of any cooking level skill. Come with an appetite as you’ll be preparing a healthy-portioned lunch that tastes amazing (loved every dish) as you sit at a shared table with your classmates/new-found friends. We left with pleasantly full stomachs and detailed recipes so we can make the dishes at home.

This was a fantastic day - we would highly recommend it (and will likely return!). I am gluten-free, and Lorena was able to accommodate no problem. The chance to explore the market and make delicious food was a special and unforgettable experience.

The best cooking class we have ever taken. The recipe of items we cooked were not the typical dishes you would have elsewhere but traditional recipes where you learn techniques and recipes simultaneously. Chef Lorena was a delight and would highly recommend this class for everyone visiting Mexico City.
