Booked trip not picked up at meeting point, no telephone contact to say they were there ,only interested in getting your money ........Wont use VIATOR again .........Can book cheaper in old town.....is this revised enough for you Trip advisor

The driver was on time, minivan was OK.. I was informed about the exact pickup time by a message in TripAdvisor and by a phone call the day before. So perhaps it's best to book at least 2-1 days in advance. That's all to say because the guide service is not related with this company.

Michal Kucharski picked us up from the airport and drove us to our hotel. He, also, drove us to and from our Auschwitz-Birkenau tour, having picked us up from our hotel. He was professional, courteous and friendly. He went out of his way to send us restaurant and sightseeing tips, all in his own time. We can recommend him and his company without reservation. Overall, the experience with Michal was first class.

We had booked this trip and specifically paid extra for a hotel pick up tat 8.10. We were expecting a message from provider to confirm time. I actually contacted them myself ( I must have had a hunch there was going to be a mess up) then got a text with a follow up phonecall at 20.10 to be informed our pick up would be at 5.40 and a walk from our hotel so not only did we get a stupidly early pick up time we missed breakfast as were told far too late in the day to enquire about a breakfast box!! The excuse was lack of English guides on the day of the phonecall and a wait of up to 1.5 hours. I have never heard so much rubbish in my whole life of travelling to many countries.
When we arrived on site there was no queue and were booked into the 1st English speaking slot of 9am so that was a load of rubbish and the tickets were obviously not purchased or reserved the day before!! Our driver was Josef. I don't know whether he is to blame for the ticket mess up or it is a shoddy tour company.
Do not be put off by the experience as it is one not to be missed and never be forgotten for many reasons. Warning - tissues will be required.
Our onsite guide was fantastic and the headsets worked were good quality.
There is a lot of walking up and down worn out steps and uneven grounds so I wouldn't recommed this trip unless you have a good level of fitness.
If in Krakov this trip is a must but please use another company as wouldn't want your hard earned cash to be wasted on false advertising and a missed breakfast or drink due to an unecessary early pick up.

The tour was great and so interesting and emotional! So much to see and learn from the tour guide. My only negative would be the change of pick up time from 12 noon to 5:50am. There was no need for us to be there for 7am and wait until 11am for our tour!!! This needs looked into and reviewed please.

Auschwitz is a very humbling experience, reminding us of humanities worst moments. The monument itself is great and a mist see when in Poland, I have learned a lot about this dark times in history. Their a lot of emotions when visiting this site, its a great tour of the two cumps.
Unfortunately our experience was very bad. We had booked with a provider call Gr8way. Booking the tour I got a detailed email with what the services I paid for were: hotel pick up, english speaking driver, skip the line services and an English speaking tour guide. They send us an email the night before saying they are going to pick us up at 6.10 instead of 8.00 that I had booked. They informed us that because of a lack of guides we will had to weight tops 1.30 hours which was acceptable. What was unacceptable was that we waited in line from 7.40 to 9.45 only yo be informed that we would enter at 14.30!!!!!!!! The tour operator on sight was no help at all, I wasn't really sure he spoke English (the driver didn't she spoke to us via Google translate). When I asked him why this happened, showed him the email with what they said they would offer us he just looked at me and said no, that the email wasn't correct, though it was send by them. All he was saying was no, and I will talk to my company. They didn't even offer yo drive as to a near by Caffe or something to do the endless hours we had to wait. Wasted a while day of vocation sitting around and were exhausted when we got back to Krakow at 19.30!!!! I have send the operator an email asking for an explanation the haven't replied yet( to days later.)

I had max szkatulla picking me up in krakau. He is an amazingly nice and efficient person. He took very good care of the group and showed us places that other can not see around the camps.

The tour guide changed the time from 10 AM to 5:55 AM. It was less than 24 hours so I could not cancel the tour. The tour company refused to cancel and credit me as THEY changed the plans NOT me. I found out that the tour company was attempting to get to Auschwitz as soon as possible in the morning as they did not have entrance tickets. Why should I need to get up prior to sunrise for a tour where they didn't even have entrance tickets. False advertising on two parts-one a different departure time and second-the tour company did not have tickets for customers. I called Viator and they would do nothing for me as well. Yet, the tour company had their driver ring me the morning of the tour. Clearly communication is not effective and efficient at this tour company.

We really enjoyed our tour yesterday thanks to our kind driver Karol. He picked us up on time and the drive to Auschwitz was very pleasant. He is such a nice, well-mannered and well informed gentleman and he took care of us all the time making our trip to Auschwitz very comfortable and smooth. Auschwitz is a must see landmark, however it involves a lot of walking for anyone with such problems. Thanks again Karol. You made it a great experience.
