Very busy and underwhelming. The best thing about it was the restaurants. The wait to the top floor was over an hour.

Great views from the top! But beware, was charged $55 US not NZ so would have been cheaper to buy direct, purchase currency wasn't obvious on the site!

The view from the tower was nice, however me and my boyfriend have travelled all around New Zealand since the beginning of December and we have never experienced such unmotivated and rude staff. The girl who was working on the sky slide the day of 28/12/23 was particularly rude to not only us but other families. My boyfriend purchased a ticket for the sky slide for both us (there was a problem with our ticket it had been marked off that we hadn’t purchased it but when we went downstairs the man at the front desk sorted it straight away) before we went to go and sort the ticket the girl said ‘I would go now as we close at six’ (it’s about 5:30 at this point) when we went downstairs the man informed us the sky slide actually closes at half 6. The. We then read our ticket and it says the que closes at 6 but the actual ride closes at 6:30?? Very misleading and confusing does it close at 6 or not?? Fast forward to us queuing up for our ride, it was about 5:50 but we didn’t see the problem as our ticket was marked wrong therefore we couldn’t have gone earlier and the man at the front desk has informed us it was opened until 6:30. I tried to watch the person who was on the sky slider and I was informed stand in line by the girl working on it, I leaned a little bit forward so I could have a look and I was rudely informed again ‘stand back in line’ can I just add it was just me and my boyfriend in the que, it was impossible to cut infront of anyone.
The girl was rushing each person on and off the sky slide, she would literally take the head set off you before you’ve even had time to think about the fact the ride was finished (basically rushing us) she shut the que at 5:54 (huffing and puffing whilst doing this) then a family asked to go on the ride and She very rudely said ‘we are busy’ and said only one family remember could go on. The family’s face said it all, I could tell they felt as shocked as we did. Not a pleasant experience watching a young girl be so rude to customers. There needs to be some form of staff training or some boundaries to when the ride is actually shut, there is no use shutting the que at 6 and then telling people it’s open till 6:30. Can I add boyfriend and I paid 91 dollars for this whole experience and we didn’t even get to see the sky bar as it was ‘too full??’ There needs to be a system in place where all the people who book to see the sky tower gets a time slot. We feel we have been completely ripped off money wise, we are not impressed and we do not feel like we have gotten our value for money. Unfortunately my boyfriend and I have left New Zealand now and our trip has come to an end so we will not be able to experience this again but I wish for something to be sorted so other traveler's will not waste their money like we did. (Ps the sky slider is not worth the money at all I have done plenty of VR experiences and that was barley moved and was not exciting in the slightest).

What a rip off doing this booking through you. You create the impression that if one does not book there and then on your site you will lose out on the experience. Futhet more- why would I Pau USD if I am booking a event in NZ with NZD? Then when arriving at the sky city tower- one realizes some levels are under construction!
This was a very expensive booming- with false information provided.
I will never use this site again to make a booking!
I do need some compensation for the misleading information that you have provided.

The Sky Tower offers the highest vantage points in Auckland which helps the visitor to appreciate the size of New Zealand's largest city. The Sky Tower had lots of interesting information in it and the glass floor around the edge of the tower provided a great view down to street level

A visit to the Sky Tower is a must for anyone visiting Auckland. You can just each of the two the visit platforms, dine in one of two restaurants - one, the 'Orbit 360,' slowly does just that. Or maybe, do a bungee jump! The tower offers spectacular 360° views over the city. Well worth a visit!
