Experience the very best of Auckland and vicinity with a morning city tour combined with an afternoon wine tasting in the stunning nearby Kumeu wine country. Take a look at the city’s popular neighborhoods and enjoy great views over the harbor while touring Auckland in the morning. Then spend the afternoon in the Kumeu region to enjoy lunch at a winery restaurant and savor wine tastings at three award-winning New Zealand wineries. Our host did an amazing job and provided us with all the best views throughout the winery tour. The wine itself was excellent, and it’s clear that the owners of each winery take a lot of pride in their work. Highly recommend!

Alex, our driver/tour guide was fantastic. Knowledgeable, articulate and kind. The view from Mt. Victoria was amazing, as was the lunch at Soljans Winery (try the Croatian dish if it is available — Yum!) John at Coopers Creek was especially nice, and the Coopers Creek Gold Dessert Wine was outstanding. Over all, the tour gave us the opportunity to experience the variety of wines of Kumeu. Thanks again. Ken & Dinah

This tour can be divided into two parts: the morning city tour and the afternoon wine tour. Both guides, Jason and Alex, were great. The tour is operated by Bush and a beach tours here in Auckland and the company has an excellent reputation.
From the moment we were picked up in the morning, we knew we were in excellent hands. The city tour was very well paved with great stops and great information presented. The afternoon tour to the three vineyards was loads of fun and informative. The three vineyards were excellent. It was a great day out!

We used this company for the above tours as well as a trip to Hobiton. The weather was rainy but our guides were cheerful, resourceful in working around the weather and extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Sean, our guide for the wine tour shared his extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna of New Zealand as well as squiring us to the vineyards. He made an extra effort to take us on short detours along the coast and into a forested area to show us examples of the vegetation and coastal birds and cliffs. His friendliness put us at ease and his expertise was impressive. Wayne, our guide to Hobiton had an endless store of funny stories as well as knowledge of the countryside so that the fairly long trip passed quickly. Stefan had to contend with heavy rain and fog during the Auckland tour but was able to do work arounds.
This company uses smaller vehicles so the groups are smaller as well. The staff is also smaller with the guides having good relationships with each other and a clear respect for their owner/boss. They won a significant award for the best new Small business last year.
All in all, very happy with our experience over two days. Full marks to Bush and Beach.

Very good overview City tour of Auckland in the morning. Great opportunity to tour the City Center, the Harbor area and several of the adjacent neighborhoods. The afternoon wine tour with three stops was outstanding. The staff at each was quite knowledgeable about their wines and food pairings. The highlight of the afternoon was a stop at the cliffs on the west shore to see the gannet and tern colonies starting their annual egg hatchings. Great introduction to Auckland for newcomers to NZ
