Desert Agafay and Atlas Mountains day trip from Marrakech, This is the highlights of Marrakech. On this day tour to Desert Agafay & Atlas Mountains you will see the most amazing and beautiful places: Atlas Mountains, Tachdirt Valley, Ckik Valley, Amizmiz Valley, walk to Aroumd Village and visit many Berber Villages on, have tea with a berber family and learen about they life, walk up to the waterfalls and see a wonderful views of Mount Toubka. On this tour you have a chance to ride a camels and a visit to Argan women's cooperative. After lunch we will drive to Desert Agafay to watch the breathtaking desert sunset and sip on a cup of mint tea. Enjoy some free time to relax or meditate before beginning the journey back to Marrakech.
The tour start at 9:00 AM, from your Accomodation or if you are satying in the Medina we can meet you at Restourant Cafe de France in Jema El fna square.
The Tour ended back in Marrakech around 17:00 PM

Absolutely amazing trip. This is a must to do as long as you are fit and able. Amazing value just amazing . Mohamed was so knowledgeable and just so funny and kind.

Everything was just amazing. The mountains were so cool, the waterfalls were stunning and the lunch was incredible too!
Hamza is also amazing and a local legend in the imlil valley.

Youssef Boura (guide) is passionate about his job.
He has great communication skills.
He introduced himself, gave introduction at the beginning of the day to tell us how many stops we will have, if we are picking up people along the way, times we will stop for bathroom, for lunch time, for sight seeing. He speaks great English and is knowlegable about Morocco. He happily answered our questions and took us great pictures.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day two. Led by two locals from the village we visited to start the walk; also met the drivers young daughter. The driver and guide (sorry terrible at remembering names), we’re good, relaxed and not rushing anyone. Given the time the trip takes, it’s very good value for money. Worth going to get a feel for the atlas mountain foothill environment away from Marrakech. Recommend.

Overall a fantastic experience they picked us up from our hotel was a bit delayed but they WhatsApp messaged me to let me know they was running late. Was nervous about the camel experience with our toddler but they safely passed her to us once we climbed on. Walking to the waterfall was a challenge but our tour guide Youssef carried out daughter on all the tricky uphill bits which was so helpful. Couldn't fault the you're or Youssef. It is a good walk so be prepared and wear sensible footwear like trainers or walking boots.

We loved this day tour, it was the first guided tour we took upon arriving at Morocco and have recommended it to most of our new friends we met on our Morocco trip.
We got to see how argan oil was made, took a short hike up the Atlas mountains, met and rode on camels and ended with an amazing view of the valley. The Moroccan sunset is definitely one of the best.
It was still winter and the roads and trails of the Atlas was slight slippery with the ice but our guide Baha was a great help with helping and making sure everyone got down safely. Everything was seamless and well taken care of from the comfortable ride and we learnt so much along the way.

We had a lovely tour guide- Hamza who was very helpful and informative. He didn’t rush us and let us enjoy each part of the trip and even took our pictures
