Desert Agafay and Atlas Mountains day trip from Marrakech, This is the highlights of Marrakech. On this day tour to Desert Agafay & Atlas Mountains you will see the most amazing and beautiful places: Atlas Mountains, Tachdirt Valley, Ckik Valley, Amizmiz Valley, walk to Aroumd Village and visit many Berber Villages on, have tea with a berber family and learen about they life, walk up to the waterfalls and see a wonderful views of Mount Toubka. On this tour you have a chance to ride a camels and a visit to Argan women's cooperative.
After lunch we will drive to Desert Agafay to watch the breathtaking desert sunset and sip on a cup of mint tea. Enjoy some free time to relax or meditate before beginning the journey back to Marrakech.
The tour start at 9:00 AM, from your Accomodation or if you are satying in the Medina we can meet you at Restourant Cafe de France in Jema El fna square.
The Tour ended back in Marrakech around 17:00 PM

Excellent day trip, guide Lahcen Mansouri was super, always there taking care of each and everyone while at the same time informing us about the history of the valley, Berber culture.. highly recommended

Our tour guide Ibrahim was informative about the area we visited and answered questions on more broader topics of Moroccan life and culture
We were kept informed on pick up times and itinery.
We were taken to a good value for money restaurant where we had a lovely lunch after our walk

The best experience comes with the service. If it’s good you’ll have a fabulous experience. I had an excellent experience with the best tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and friendly.
The entire group on the tour was like a family, very friendly.
Each of us were picked up and dropped off from our hotel/house. The bus was very comfortable.
I would highly recommend the mesmerising experience of a camel ride, breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains. Not forgetting the tea and lunch in the middle of the mountains.

Lahsan was a fantastic tour guide! He first took us to ride the camels, which was an amazing experience as clothing and head wrap were provided to give us an authentic experience! Lahsan offered to take pictures for us while we rode the camels which was extremely nice:) We then took the car into the mountains and had bread with different dips (argan oil, honey, olive oil, and peanut butter) before learning about the production of argan oil in a small local village. We proceeded to visit a waterfall by hiking 20-30 minutes uphill and finally ended the tour with lunch at a rooftop restaurant in a different mountain village. Lahsan was incredibly friendly and answered our questions to the best of his abilities! He explained to us the history of village establishment, told us about Morocco schooling and education, language dialects in different parts of the country, and gave personal insights on his experiences during the recent earthquake that rocked and destroyed parts of his home town. Lahsan and Mohammad were excellent guides and we highly recommend anyone (even with kids) to undertake this adventure!
