I had a fantastic horseback riding experience with guides Jorge and Joshua. I highly recommend it. The service was excellent, and the horses, Canelo and Rubí, were outstanding. I would definitely choose this again.

Not much to say as never got picked up by the company so couldn’t do the tour. Booked on Viator and managed to get a full refund through them but never heard from the company as to why they didn’t pick me up. Do not recommend.

My family (self, husband, 12 and 14 year old daughters) did the horseback riding tour with Jorge and another guide. Our group did the river ride. It was beautiful! The guides did a fantastic job. They were very knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. In the US, horseback riding tours always go at a very slow pace. These horses would trot and even run if you wanted them too. This made the ride very exciting. I highly recommend this tour!
Afterwards, we ate at an amazing restaurant beside the Go. Adventure office called Love and Coffee. The food and the view were spectacular.
Then we did the zipline and rappel tour. That was also incredibly fun with phenomenal views. It all felt very safe and the guides were fun and enigmatic.
I highly reccemned Go Adventure Park.

Beautiful view of the Arenal Volcano! Stunning!
One very important thing to know about this tour is that they take you pretty far out to get to the volcano so to make the tour time efficient the horses canter/run a lot of the time. If you are not comfortable with a cantering horse or an experienced rider this tour will be uncomfortable for you. My husband and I were not prepared for this part of the trip. We thought they would just walk! And remember to wear pants!! I wore shorts and ended up with some pretty bad sores on my ankles from the stirrups.
That being said, the tour guides were amazing and so friendly and you can tell they love what they do and love their horses. Just be prepared and you will have an amazing adventure. They took us very close to the volcano with spectacular views where we rested and soaked in the area for about a half hour or so. The guides will take your pictures and have wonderful conversations with you. They are some of the friendliest people! It will be something to remember forever!

Victor took a small group of us on a horseback ride by the river next to Arenal Volcano. It was so fun! Victor has been working with horses since childhood and has a natural talent with them. The horses seemed well taken care of and he treated them with kindness and respect. We saw them on a pasture afterwards enjoying the open space.
The views from the trail were beautiful. Victor pointed out different plants and animals along the way. We passed by a small waterfall and got to walk through a river to cool the horses off in the humid afternoon.
Everyone had different experience levels and were welcome. For one person in the group it was his first time and he felt comfortable. I had more experience than the rest of the group and Victor took me galloping while the rest of the group hung back. He explained clearly to me how to be safe and it was SO FUN.
Highly recommend this tour!

Everywhere I go with my son, we ride horses. I would estimate over 20 times. Thad is the best horseback tour I’ve ever been on. The horses were well taken care of, the euipment was in good order. But most of all the guides did and excellent job. It wasn’t a nose to tail, follow the leader. It was galloping, running, river crossing and just an excellent ride. The horses were give time to rest on several occasions. Thanks to Jorge and Hildalgo.

Victor and the other guide who is a professional horse rider, who used to race were unbelievable!

We are very enthousiastic about this trip and the company. Our guide Jorge was very funny and kind. He made sure we had a good time with the horseback riding. The views were amazing and the guide knows a lot about Costa Rica. Taking the horses into the water was very exciting and you could take it easy on the running if you want to. Would definitely recommand this company!

Our travel agent booked a farm tour for 10 am and a horseback riding tour with go adventure for the same day, booking said 8:30 and 1:30 tour times. Given we had a tour at 10 we went straight from it to go adventure for the 1:30 tour and they acted as if it didn’t exist. They said we were supposed to be there at 8:30 (for a 3 hour tour) and there was no option to rebook, we had forfeited our booking as a no show.
Our agent reached out and got the same response.
$300 this company charged us for no product or service. I’d search for a company with better customer service if you’re in the market.
