Really good trip hiking around the volcano and up to the look out point. David our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable - he clearly loves his job and his passion is infectious.
The hike only has one section where you get a little out of breath - otherwise it’s fine for non hikers (which we are!).
We really enjoyed this trip and learning about the volcano.

The views were great & the guides were friendly & knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour & highly recommend. Part of the trail is rocky & deep steps so extra attention is needed but most of the trail is easy.

Jason (our guide) and Luis (our driver) were outstanding. Our girls 5 and 6 had a blast and Jason was just amazing with them. Answered slowly their questions and ensured they had a blast. 100% recommend. The view was amazing and the hike was wonderful!!

Our hike with Melany was great. She share lots about the natural history of the area which made it so much more interesting than if we had just hiked on our own.

Loved the hike! It was very informative and we learned a lot about the history behind Arenal. Rocks a bit slippery on the way down. But the walking sticks offered in the beginning are a must have.

The views take your breath away
Definitely challenging if you aren't active, but definitely doable
We hiked as a family with children aged 9 and 11.
Our group had 4 elderly tourists too and our guide was absolutely amazing
Ronald stopped to show us all plants, point out wildlife and shared amazing facts all the way
