Jose was great! He was definitely a local! The hanging bridges and waterfall were awesome. I was expecting a tour up to the volcano by the description and it was just a see in the distance situation. Jose was EXTREMELY informative about all life...it is definitely more of an eco tour than I was expected and certainly not adventurous. The La Fortuna waterfall is about 500 steps up/down, so be prepared! Good swimming area. The lunch destination Jose chose (which was included except for alcohol) was delicious!

The tour guy his name is Angelo all he did was toking about him self no information at all very rude he cali it honestly we dint not enjoy it plus rain a lot

We book Angelo for entire trip in CR and it was our absolutely best vacation ever (we travel a lot). The best part is that he is not simply filling your schedule up, he listens to you and create an itinerary that fits your style, physical ability, pace and taste! We were only in La Fortuna for two days and wanted to experience the most we could. Costa Rica Nature Guide specifically Angelo was absolutely amazing. He makes you feel comfortable right when you meet and will go out of his way to provide the best experience he possibly can. Overall the tour was an amazing experience we will never forget. We spent a day with Angelo in the La Fortuna area. We had a small group with ages ranging from 10 to 70, and everyone had a blast. Angelo was punctual, extremely professional, and very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. He helped us spot many unique animals. He was very laid back about the pace and made sure that everyone was able to enjoy the entire day, yet we still had time to do several different hikes and nature walks and enjoyed a delicious lunch in town as well. If you are interested in seeing the local critters up close in their natural habitat, Angelo is the man.
