We will have a great time immerse in the rainforest, volcano and one of the most beautiful waterfalls we have in the country.
We will be able to spot wildlife in the middle of the forest such as monkeys, sloths, frogs, snakes and more. The view from the hanging bridges is breathtaking. We will learn about Arenal volcano geology and history by the time we are hiking the lava flows from 1968.
We will have a delicious and local lunch at my family restaurant with one of the most breathtaking views of the valley and volcano.
We will finish at la fortuna waterfall where we will have to swim and take pictures of this iconic place in la fortuna.

100% enthusiasm for our review of this trip and of Danny as a guide! The trip is a wonderful range of experience for what Arenal has to offer- wildlife, magnificent vistas and forest, the volcano, spectacular waterfall and a swimming hole, Costa Rican history and culture. And, a big add-on is lunch at Danny’s family restaurant, which is a lovely full service restaurant with a great view. It is a full day, but Danny does a great job of pacing and attending to the needs of his clients. We are a fit couple in our late 60’s, and the day was quite manageable. Danny is from a family with many generations in Costa Rica, and his knowledge and love of this place are a gift to his clients. We came away with fantastic pictures from his scope and camera, a lot of education about the birds, wildlife, and country. This is a trip not to be missed!

Daniel was awesome. He is very knowledgeable and shows his love for Costa Rica. We did the full day tour; Hanging Bridges, Volcano, and Waterfall. We felt we experienced so much more since Daniel was there to point out and explain things. We went to his families restaurant and was treated to amazing views and a fabulous meal. Book with him you will not regret it.

Book Daniel, you won’t regret it. From the moment I reached out to inquire about his transportation and guided tours he was responsive and friendly. It was our first time to Costa Rica so we had no idea what to expect. Hiring Daniel was like traveling around with a friend the whole time. We did the La Fortuna waterfall and hanging bridges with Daniel. We would not have seen any of the wildlife we saw if he wasn’t with us. We have no clue how he spotted half the critters in the trees that he did. His knowledge for the area and the wildlife is unmatched. He then took us to his uncles restaurant, Jalapas, which was the best meal we had in Costa Rica.
We also used his services to get from LIR to La Fortuna and then to Tamarindo. He was prompt and was informative the whole time. We learned so much from Daniel.
So thank you, Daniel! We will be back and will absolutely call you again :)

Daniel and Las Pavitas tours truly made our trip unforgettable! He and Luis were beyond professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We spent 2 days with Las Pavitas in La Fortuna and loved how Daniel not only helped create our itinerary but helped us adapt it along the way.
Daniel and Luis were both amazing with my 8 and 10 year old, who both won’t stop talking about them. We learned not only about the nature and wonders we visited but so much about Costa Rica. Book Las Pavitas, eat at Jalapas, and take in as much knowledge and kindness as you can from them!

Our full day private tour with Daniel was amazing. He is an absolute great guide and a friendly person.
He spotted many animals in the Mistico Hanging bridges park and took excellent photos for us.
We learned a lot from his explanations and hike to Arenal Vulcano.
The lunch in his family owned restaurant was absolut delicious and the view fantastic.
He was flexible and a adapted the tour to our needs.

We took a full day tour with Daniel. We went to the hanging bridges and volcano walk. The days weather started out overcast and slightly rainy but when we were hiking up the volcano he saw the clouds were breaking and we’d have a good view of the volcano. We rushed up to a cleaning just as the clouds cleared away and got some excellent pictures. By the time we got down from the hike the clouds were back. His knowledge of the area was excellent. He as able to find wildlife everywhere we went.

Great guy and great guide. Very knowledgeable. His family’s restaurant served the best authentic Coasta Rican food with beautiful views. Saw toucans while we had lunch! I highly recommend him.

We went with Daniel as our tour guide based on reviews, many of which were found on Tripadvisor (were we ever glad that we did). There were 6 of us including 2 kids (4 and 8 years) and 2 seniors. We had an amazing time. Daniel was great with the kids and very accommodating. He answered all questions and was very knowledgeable. We were never rushed and he let us set our own pace. He stopped to show us many things along the way and adjusted the timing of lunch for the sake of the kids. Lunch was at a wonderful family restaurant with delicious food and a jaw dropping view. Overall we had an incredible day and cannot say enough good things about the tour and Daniel.

I expected my first trip to Costa Rica to be fabulous, but Daniel took it above and beyond. His knowledge, love for his country and huge heart made him an instant friend. I cannot describe how great of a human Daniel is. I’m lucky enough to have been back to Costa Rica multiple times & rely on Daniel & his services to take my trips for myself and my guests I bring to the absolute next level. I travel extensively all around the world & I always find myself wishing I could have a “Daniel” everywhere I go. He’s truly one of a kind & it goes beyond his knowledge & passion for his country. If you have the opportunity of meeting him and seeing Costa Rica with his help, do not miss out. I’m so grateful to have met him on my first visit to this beautiful country & now I look forward to returning largely to just reunite with him… and introduce more friends to him! :)
