Nice amenities in location, friendly staff (2 members dedicated to our 6 people group). Activity started on time. I didn't give 5 starts because website for booking does not mention that the starting location is approximately 30 min away from other tubing areas near Tenorio Volcano National Park where the Rio Celeste Waterfall is. During our visit (March 2024), the river water level was low (or at least it was at the areas where our adventure started), which made it difficult for myself and, another member of my group, to get thru the river rapid areas without getting stuck between the rocks. We hurt our bottoms quite a bit (nothing serious) and the staff struggled a lot trying to pull our heavy bodies downriver. Overall, we DID have fun and the river landscape was gorgeous. At the end of the activity the staff provided fresh fruit and water.

We loved our tubing experience with Christian. The water was beautiful, and the tubing was tons of fun. Would definitely come back! Lovely people, great time!

We had an absolutely amazing experience today tubing down the Rio Celeste river. We would highly recommend doing this tour and Daniel, our guide, was fantastic. He did such a great job guiding us down the river and went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful experience. Not only did we get to tube down the River, but we also got to do a Tarzan swing, jump into the River, and swim for a bit before finishing the tubing. The river was absolutely gorgeous! Daniel also showed us some of the monkeys back at the meeting place by the restaurant.
The person with the 1-star review didn’t go to the correct location, which could have been easy to do since there is another place that we would’ve turned into thinking it was the correct location because the signs were similar but we followed someone who took us to the correct location and we parked in front of the restaurant.

We are elderly. David saw to it that we were taken care of from start to finish of our excursion. He took extra care in getting us into our safety gear and into our tubes. He also set up our "go pro" on my husbands safety helmet. All along he kept asking if we were having a good time because it was most important. We talked back and forth about each other cultures and learned more about Costa Rica. Our ride back to the reception area was fantastic. Had a little Kareoke going. Made us smile. After return, we were directed to the showers for a rinse off and then served fresh watermelon and pineapple. Last tour of the day. We were not rushed at all. Everyone was so nice.

This was hands down our favorite activity in Costa Rica! Merlin and Refelio were amazing to us! The blue water and scenery were to die for. The rapids started right away and didn’t end until we got off. This was an absolute blast and we wished we had booked it twice!

It was a lot of fun! I went with my son and we felt safe and enjoyed ourselves. There was a rope swing about halfway through where we could jump into a deep part of the river.

Please give me my money back!!!
We had booked for Tubing at 9:00 AM. We reached the site at 8:50 AM.
The place looked like an old resort with about 9 cabins and a small restaurant. The whole place was empty when we reached. There was no response even after knocking on the door for more than 15 minutes. Finally, someone showed up around 9:10 AM. But they were not aware of our reservation.
We tried to call & text (Whatsapp) the number (which we had used for booking) multiple times - but there was no response. There has been no response from that number till now (5 days now).
After waiting till 9:25 AM, we asked them to cancel our booking and refund the money. The person there agreed. We left after that.
We are yet to receive our money. I have filed a dispute through my credit card company.

Beautiful tubing down the Rio Celeste. I thought it was going to be a 'relaxing' river float but there were quite a bit of rapids. We had a guide on each end of our train of tubes who expertly navigated us through. It was pouring rain so we had a late arrival due to driving slow but they were very accommodating and waited for us. There were two opportunities for swimming and one for swinging into the water. We saw a pack of howler monkeys on the ride out. Great experience!
