Escape from the city on an electrical assisted bicycle, complete with helmets that have integrated bluetooth headsets and microphones so you can hear the guide and family members without having to stress.
In fact thats the best part about doing the Appian Way Bike Tour, its almost entirely in the countryside without the stress of having to move through crowds or traffic. There are some short sections open to cars however, more so on Wednesdays.
As for the stops, there is a main stop at the catacombs and another big stop at the Park of the Aqueducts. There will also be an exquisite lunch of local italian produce bought from the local market Quadraro in a rural setting.
Although you won't have time to visit the market, you will be able to savor the tastes that only the freshest produce can give you during your picnic prepared by us!
Cycle through the cafarella valley on your way back into Rome through yet more farmland and wooded valley.

What a great tour! With the e-bike, anyone could do this tour no matter what your fitness level and Glenn makes you feel safe in the few places where you are on the streets.
The Catacombs were interesting and the aqueducts awe inspiring. A picnic next to the aqueducts is an experience we will always remember. Highly recommend!

We had great time. It is a good ride length and you get to see parts of Rome that aren’t in the beaten path for tourists. Riding the Appian way and the catacombs were highlights.

Was such a fun riding on the oldest roman road and also seeing the aqua ducts! Our guide was amazing and allowed us to ride at our own paces! Very safe and informative with the Bluetooth helmets, and the ebikes were top quality!

We are delighted to have booked this bike tour to discover the Appian aqueducts and the pretty Roman countryside thanks to Glen and his team. Our guide Bernardo was also very friendly and spoke French very well. We loved the little aperitif 🙂 If there is one thing to do in Rome I recommend this tour 200%! Glen also organizes picnics. Good to know 😉

We had a unique time with Glen, who was adorable! The route is super nice, the landscapes are superb, and the stop at the catacombs is very interesting. The walk ends with an aperitif, and all this in a super relaxed and chilled moment! In short, don't hesitate, it's a great experience

The tour at 09.00 hrs was canceled because of ‘bad weather’ (the forecast had changed but they had made their decision at least a day in advance) but this was only communicated to us at 23.00 hrs the night before via whats app. Their excuse was they called us once(!) before via an unknown phone number at 12.00 hrs. Not a single excuse, no sorry at all. We were told to take their afternoon tour or cancel.
When we told them we disagreed with how this was handled & this did not align with our plans, they told us they would cancel it and hung up!
Overall very unprofessional and unreliable; I would not recommend this company!!

What a great tour! Our guide Aurora was awesome!! The picnic was fresh and delicious and riding on the ancient roadway was indescribable! Highly recommend!!

It is all about Richard!!! He is an amazing guide, and a fantastic person. My family (wife plus 8 and 10 year olds) loved the experience. Great information, pace, safety, and fun.
We had some interaction with the owner. He rubbed us wrong in dealing with an equipment issue. But, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the experience if you get Richard. Just make sure you are comfortable with your bike and it is working well at the start.
