Located southeast of Lower Antelope canyon by the gateway town of Page, AZ. This part of the canyon is chiseled out by millions of years’ worth of flood erosion and impactful winds on its sandstone, enough to sculpt out the iconic "X" shape that aptly named the canyon. Canyon X is a relatively new scenic tour and the lesser-known cousin of Upper/Lower Antelope Canyon, which results in fewer visitors by comparison to the other two.
Canyon X is a nice mixture of the characteristics of both Upper and Lower canyon, with the Upper’s feature of pillars of light and the Lower’s steepness. Canyon X is also deeper than the other two by comparison, and with it brings ample photo opportunities. It truly is a great vacation spot for photography as well.

The best ever experience. Nice view even o need to drove 5 hrs but its worth it. The tour guide was so great and so responsible for a group tour.

We enjoyed our time in the slot canyon Antelope X; it was not too crowded and our guide Justin showed us a great way to take pictures, and positioned each member of the party for the best views.
There was a problem with communication since we booked with TripAdvisor, who went through Viator who went through National Parks Express who actually contracted with the actual Navajo company. We were told to come with our voucher but the attachment had no voucher. So many emails that didn’t give a phone number that was answered, had 2 different meeting locations, one in the town of Page who said this trip wasn’t them, and one location that was in the middle of nowhere. Luckily my husband decided to keep driving and we came across it 6 miles past the listed location.
Note to self: book directly with provider and save yourself heartburn.

Such a beautiful majestic place. The tour guide was amazing! She knew exactly where to take all the best photos and in fact took a lot herself. It is a bit of a hike down and back out so wear good shoes and take water breaks.

Nice tour that was very walkable for anyone. In the canyon about 1 1/2 hours. Guide was great about taking photos & showing us good spots. I would recommend this inexpensive & shorter than upper or lower tours, to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of Antelope Canyon.

Love the tour it’s so worth the price. It’s amazing fun exciting and lot of very important information. Our tour guide Van was the best. Make sure you wear very comfortable shoes and be prepared for the walk back up out canyon pretty steep . There’s a lot of opportunity for memorable pictures.

The Antelope Canyon X was great! TripAdvisor ripped me off by charging is an additional $15 per ticket. So advice you show up the Antelope X canyon on Navajo Reservation and pay them Directly it’s $50 plus 8 park fee… And the south and North Access to antelope is the Same , not worth wasting 130 or 150 for more expensive tickets it’s all relative.

Our guide gave us good spots for beautiful pictures of the canyon. She even gave us tips on setting up our phone filters to create beautiful pictures.
