The Anne Frank Walking Tour combined with museum entry offers an immersive and deeply moving exploration of one of history's most poignant stories. As the tour meanders through Amsterdam's picturesque streets, a knowledgeable guide shares insights into the Frank family's life and the escalating dangers they faced. Stories from Anne's diary are woven into the narrative, offering a deeply personal perspective on the events of the time.
The culmination of the tour is the entry into the Anne Frank House, the secret annex where Anne and her family hid for more than two years. Inside the museum, visitors encounter the actual diary, along with various exhibits that bring Anne's story and the broader history of the Holocaust to life. The rooms of the annex, preserved and restored, offer a profound sense of the day-to-day reality Anne and her companions faced.
Note: The guide will not enter into the Anne Frank house as guiding inside the foundation is not allowed.

Our tour guide was wonderful. I regret that I do not recall his name, but he was tall and blonde, very knowledgable and made the entire tour engaging. We learned so much and we had come in with a lot of knowledge about WW2 and the Holocaust specifically. I will never forget this information either, as he connected it to the landscape/buildings. Additionally, I greatly appreciated his recognition of the bravery of the LGBTQ+ men and women who were part of the resistance against the Nazis, many of whom lost their lives as well in the death camps.

Max was a thoughtful and fantastic guide who gave a thorough trip through Jewish life in Amsterdam during the Second World War. He brought the horrors of this history to life, as well as the moving story of Anne Frank. We see her house as well as other significant landmarks from this period of history that should never be forgotten. Highly highly recommend.

I had already done the Anne Frank house but Max provided a lot more detail and color to a truly tragic story. It is a tough story to recount but Max added a lot of insights and little details that made the tour absolutely fantastic
