This was a nice tour, however, made long with cramming too many people into the Van. I had to sit in the jump seat in the front which meant I was crammed between the driver and my husband with one knee up near my waist. It made for a very hot adventure even though we were there in the latter part of September. We did get to see Positano, which was wonderful, and we thought the best town out of the three. In Amalfi we opted to do a boat ride vs going into the town itself. The best thing to do as even in late September, Amalfi was crammed wall to wall with people. Lunch in Ravello was nice, typical Italian fare, nothing special. However the view was amazing! Driver was nice and cordial but his English was limited.

We were picked up at our hotel and were part of a small group of 8 people. The guide was excellent and ensured we didn’t miss a thing on route. We travelled from Sorrento over the mountains to the Bay of Amalfi. We visited 3 major places but saw other towns as well. There was time to explore and shop if you wanted. Lunch was good with wine and limoncello. Our favourite place was Positano.

We had a terrific day today, exploring the Amalfi Coast by car and boat. Our driver was a real character and kept us entertained from the very start. Fortunately his driving skills were far better than his jokes, which was good because the Amalfi Coast roads are unbelievable. Winding, narrow, hairpin turns mostly suited for only 1 car at a tim - let alone cars / trucks / bikes all at once.
We ventured through Positano; Amalfi then Ravello - each equally as fascinating as the last. Each built on coastal cliffs, some hardly accessible - it was amazing scenery. At Amalfi we also took a 1 hour cruise up / down the coast, which allowed us to see the coastal landscape from the perspective of the sea.
Our ‘brush with a celebrity’ … we saw the Villa of Sophia Loren (FYI - it is white with green shutters). :)
We lunched high in the hills of Ravello, at “Ristorante Salvatore” which had simply breathtaking views. Really good.
The driving was crazy and it only seemed to be a matter of time before an accident would happen (I am sure many do). Today one did and we saw 2 bikes collide on a hairpin bend. Fortunately it appeared that no one was hurt (bikes were a mess).

Our tour guide, Enzo, clearly loves his job & his driving & parking skills along the narrow, winding streets are masterful. He highlighted the very best of the three villages toured: Positano, Amalfi & Ravello. We drove along the entire coast, taking in as much of these beautiful villages as possible. He made sure to show us an extraordinary, natural rock formation of the Virgin Mary up high overlooking the village & the sea. He stopped at the best look-out points for picture taking & happily offered to take everyone's photos as well. We made stops at each of the three villages to shop. We were treated to a delightful lunch - a perfect time to eat, rest and enjoy the amazing views. On our way back up through & around the beautiful mountains, we enjoyed a grand view of Mt. Vesuvius. At the very end of the tour, my niece realized she'd left her purse, (containing her passport!) at the restaurant!! Enzo quickly called the restaurant-they had her purse, kept it safe until the next day's tour, and was hand delivered to us at our hotel by the sorrentomaxitours owner, Max Palomba. I cannot thank them enough! They are our heroes ❤️ I highly recommend this tour.

We loved this tour. With having such little time in our trip to explore the amalfi coast this is was a great way to see it. We loved our guide, Enzo. Definitely recommend.

What a fantastic tour! Enzo was fun, informative and led an amazing trip! We had an awesome group and this tour was the highlight of our time in Italy! And Amalfi was BEAUTIFUL!

I highly recommend this tour! We went close to the end of the season, 11/4/23 and it was not crowded at all which allowed us many stops for fabulous photos that would not be possible during high season. Enzo was our guide and he was fabulous- 5 stars for Enzo! This is paradise and if you come to Italy you must visit the Amalfi Coast and take this tour! I will come back to this beautiful place and my favorite coast in the entire world!! ???????Donna

The locations were magnificent, the lunch delicious with breathtaking views. Our guide Enzo is passionate about the area, knowledgeable and very considerate of our needs. My whole family (teenage boys included) had a great time. I highly recommend it.

Nello was certainly a fun guide, and made the day very memorable! However, the indescribable beauty and amazing sights of the Amalfi Coast need little help! The lunch was very nice, and we were encouraged to pay an extra 20 Euro each for a 45 minute boat ride, which ended up being worth it!
