We went to Mt. Vesuvius, Herculaneum, and Pompeii the first day and then an Amalfi Coast the second day. He was so professional, knowledgeable, and interesting!! Our two days with Antonino were two of our best days of our two week trip!! History just came alive with his descriptions. He is not just another tour guide; he’s the best!! In addition, he was on time, his car was immaculate, he was flexible, he was respectful to everyone, and he communicated very well before the trips. He is a kind and gregarious person who has a natural talent for sharing stories and making us all fall in love with Italy!!

5/5!!!! Incredible all around and by far the highlight of our trip to Italy. Our guide, Antonino, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and personable. He customized our tour to our specifications, was very flexible, made a great photographer, and even picked out an awesome spot for lunch. In addition, this tour was VERY competitively priced and an incredible value- over 200 euros less expensive than comparable trips offered by our hotel. Would have no hesitation to book now!

I was very pleased to have booked this tour, rather than attempting to drive myself. Our driver Antonino was very punctual at the pick up and the subsequent collections in the towns. The Mercedes minivan was very clean and comfortable. Antonino had a good knowledge of the area and the history of these towns. The schedule of one hour in each of the stops worked well for us, together with various stops at scenic points to take photographs of the stunning coastline. His recommendation for a restaurant for lunch near Ravello was superb.
I would definitely recommend this trip

We had a wonderful guide and driver. They picked us up at our hotel and we returned there, also. We went to Almalfi, Ravello, Sorrento and a few other smaller towns.

We were escorted along the Amalfi Coast by Claudio, and it was an informative pleasure to ride with him. Claudio was personable, humorous, and very knowledgeable on a wide range of topics. We were two couples and we challenged him with many questions, all of which he answered with insight and patience. Except the cows, of course, because no one seems to know where the cows are. Claudio also drove carefully and thoughtfully, attentive to car sickness sensitivities possessed by several of our party that could have caused real problems on these windy roads. His easygoing approach was much appreciated when we stopped in the towns...he gave us as much or little time as we desired and was ready to move on when we were. He also provided an excellent restaurant recommendation. Always there for us, never intrusive. We give Claudio our highest recommendation and would not hesitate to ride with him again.
Then there was Antonio, who provided transportation both ways between Naples and Sorrento. Antonio led the way, handled the baggage, educated us on all things Italy, and was in general a pleasure to be around. He was on-time with his communications and his service, patient and considerate when our train ran late, and on top of everything all the time. He even gave us a free tour of Sorrento upon our arrival, which provided orientation that helped us a lot during our stay.
Overall, A Drive Into the Blue provided excellent customer service start to finish. The company went above and beyond from start of booking process to end of tour. We highly recommend this company!

The views were as good as promised but I could not hear the commentary from the back of the van. The drive back was quite scary.

Discovered " A Drive Into the Blue" on the internet for a private all-day tour from Sorrento to Positano to Amalfi to Ravello and more. Sounded more flexible and still more inclusive than the one offered as a option by our tour company and this is in a very comfortable luxury van instead of a bus - less expensive too since the whole day price quoted was shared by 6 of us. Fabio arrived early at our hotel and our only instruction was that he should include what 6 senior ladies from the US should see along the Amalfi coast that didn't involve a lot of stairs or extended steep hills to walk since we were worn out from two weeks of that! Needless to say the drive along the coastline was spectacular and Fabio's narration throughout the day was full of facts that made the whole experience educational and enjoyable. Stops for photo opps along the way, an hour of shopping and art galleries and churches in expensive Positano, a 45 minute boat tour along the coast of Amalfi (MAMA MIA), a stop at an amazing porcelain pottery factory, a delicious lunch on the deck of a family-owned mountaintop restaurant with views of Ravello and the ocean, a walk-around the town of Ravello where we were able to see cameos being carved, and then - a long overland mountainous, very scenic serpentine road inland from Ravello towards Naples and then south back to our hotel to Sorrento. By the time we got back after our 8 hour tour we felt like we'd known Fabio forever. 14 days touring Italy and this was a memorable highlight of our trip.

Mosimo and Fabio were fabulous drivers and guides. Our tour of the entire Amalfi coast was a spectacular experience from start to finish the only bad part was it had to end. From food to shops to scenery to history to beauty, it was superb
