Among the most spectacular destinations in the Amalfi Coast region, there are Amalfi and Positano, included in this activity.
Secure your spot on this tour to have the unique chance to visit two of the most famous and popular villages of the Amalfi Coast. You will join a group of no more than 15 people when meeting with your tour leader at the Roma Termini railway station to leave for Salerno onboard the high-speed train included.
Once reached Salerno, you will leave for Amalfi by ferryboat.
Amalfi will be the first destination: nestled in a ravine surrounded by stunning cliffs, the medieval public also knew it as the Duchy of Amalfi. Here you will have free time to explore the town, its public squares, shops and the Cathedral on your own.
You will spend about two and a half hours in Positano before taking your ferry back to Salerno and heading for the railway station to take your high-speed train back to Rome, which will take you back to the Eternal City at about 08:30 PM.

The Amalfi Coast towns of Amalfi and Positano were both lovely hillside towns with narrow pretty walkways and beautiful scenery. The sorbetto was amazing and the beach at Positano was relaxing. Jajo was amazing - he is a funny, upbeat and knowledgeable young man. He kept us informed and made sure to connect with everyone. He also gave us a good amount of free time to make our own decisions on how we wished to spend our time.

Positano was beautiful, Amalfi was too busy & we couldn't get on our boat back, luckily the train was delayed.

Graziella was a fantastic tour guide, made sure everyone was together from the beginning to the end. She gave us good tips once we arrived for whatever everyone wanted to do. She was very kind and informative for the trains as well.

We took a trip of a 'lifetime' as a family. We didn't want the hassle of changing hotels multiple times. This tour allowed us to stay in Rome, while taking an excellent day trip to Positano and Amalfi Coast. Our guide was excellent!! She made sure we were informed and clear about what to expect. She made certain we had her contact information in case we got separated or were late for meeting points. I really felt we were taken care of. The driver was excellent and got us there and back safely. I also appreciated that there were only 7 people on the tour. That made things much more pleasant. Totally worth the investment. Tips: make sure you have breakfast before you leave. If you want to have an inexpensive lunch, find your own place. We had lunch on the beach in Positano, so the prices were considerably higher. But worth it for the view!!

Jacopo was our tour guide and mainly the reason the whole experience went off without a hitch from the start. We met at the cafe by a train, and then got on a train to salerno.after that a gorgeous ferry ride overlooking the beautiful coastline of Amalfi filled with gorgeous houses carved into the hills, all surrounded by the gorgeous crystal blue water. We stopped in Amalfi for an hour and a half which was more than enough time to get lemon sorbet and some souvenirs and limoncello. Followed by another ride to positano where we had seafood by the coast and shopped around in the hills of the town. The whole trip was worth it, thank you Jacopo for being so attentive and thoughtful!

Had a great time! 10/10 would recommend to anyone trying to see amalfi. The tour guide was amazing and handled the tickets for everything (trains, various ferries) and made the process seamless.

Beautiful day trip from Rome. Valentina was great tour guide. Taking the train was such a better/faster option than some of the coach tours I have seen online. In addition to the train they provide super nice and clean vans. I felt safe and well taken care of as a single female traveler from the states.
Things to know:
You’re gonna walk. and walk. AND walk. Amongst a lot of tourists from around the world. It is touristy, Souvenirs and food are overpriced but the views are spectacular
Also the roads are very small and curvy. Wouldn’t advise if you get car sick.

A great day trip that I'd strongly recommend. The guide and organisation was great, the train ride very quick and efficient and the boat journeys very picturesque.
Positano is a real highlight and if you're fit I strongly recommend going right to the top via the stairs for lunch and walking back down the road past all the shops on the way down.
