Amalfi Coast Boat Excursion

The highlight of our trip! Giovanni was kind enough to reach out prior to our excursion to suggest we change the date as he noticed a storm was coming the day we were originally scheduled. This saved the day! Such a special day we will cherish forever, and our favorite lunch spot from our entire trip. Giovanni also took the best photos of us! Cannot recommend enough.

Absolutely best day in Italy for us. Private Amalfi boat tour with Giovanni. He picked us up in Praiano dock near where we were staying, beautiful day on the water. Giovanni is a really fun, nice local boatman, he grew up on this water. He is entertaining, a gracious host, and full of interesting lore of the Amalfi. He took us to his favorite places, not the tourist places. Snacks, cool tunes, Prosecco, bierres, a chilly swim, and lunch at an authentic beachside restaurant in Conca dei Marini, heaven. The owners local vino blanco is powerful and delicious. Lots of local stories of famous peoples villas and visits to this iconic place on the sea. Best of all, Giovanni is a great guide, host, friend and makes it a very special experience. Absolutely, our favorite day in Italy on this trip.

We had a fantastic day with Giovanni, he looked after us so well, drinks, snacks, great stories, local guide!
We visited some amazing spots along the coast on his cool boat.
Stopped for lunch in the perfect place, amazing food, people watching, gorgeous location.
If a boat day is your thing, I would highly recommend Giovanni-as he said, until you see Amalfi by boat you haven’t seen it!

Best day ever! Giovanni is incredibly knowledgeable, takes the best photos and brought the energy we needed. Highlight of our trip! Would give 10 stars if I could! Absolutely recommend. Giovanni also made lunch reservations for us and took us to local favorite spots. Literally saw the fisherman out catching fish then his boat was anchored where we ate lunch - fresh as it gets. You must do this trip!!! Ended the trip with some homemade limoncello!

My friends and I booked this excursion as a party of our Italy trip celebrating turning 30. The trip was fabulous and this day was so amazing it could’ve saved the entire trip if it needing saving.

Directions to get to the boat were fabulous (lots of stairs fair warning), our captain was incredibly kind and was ready to organize the day however we wanted! It was the most fabulous relaxing day, boating around, taking pictures, and stopping to swim whenever we wanted. We went to a restaurant only accessible by boat for lunch which was delicious (not included in the excursion). Would totally recommend and would absolutely do again!

My friend group talked about doing a boat tour with other people and we are so glad we went with the private event! It was fabulous!

Hands down the best day of our family’s 2-week trip to Italy and one of the best experiences of my lifetime!! Giovanni is a fabulous communicator and showed us so many hidden gems only accessible by boat - sea caves, grottoes, tiny beaches! The weather was spectacular, the views breathtaking, and the water perfect for swimming! Plus, every bite of the seaside lunch we opted in for was absolutely divine! My expectations were high going in, but even so they were exceeded! Don’t hesitate to book this trip!!

Our boat charter with Alfonso was the highlight of our stay on the Amalfi Coast! Communication both in planning and day prior to our trip was efficient and easy through WhatsApp. The boat was beautiful, and stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our day. Alfonso shared his knowledge of the area with us freely, and pointed out many interests along the way. There truly is no better way to experience the Amalfi Coast than from the water, and we whole-heartedly recommend Amalfi Coast My Way for doing just that!

Great day on the water. The best way to see the Amalfi coast and I highly recommend doing this. Alfonso was awesome and very knowledgeable about the area. He took us to a quaint seafood restaraunt for lunch that was a 10 of 10. Loved it.

My wife, parents and parents' friends (6 of us, one younger couple, two older) spent a day with Alfonso. It was an amazing day full of viewing the coast and swimming, from our hotel by Minori down to Positano (quick stop for a swim and some cliff jumping) and back. Alfonso had a great lunch spot on the way back which also had a very nice beach for swimming. Alfonso had prosecco, beer, waters, coca colaon the boat, he really had everything. The boat has a small restroom below which is also nice. We felt like we were in great hands and this was one of the best experiences we had in Italy. Thanks again Alfonso

Giovanni’s tour of the Amalfi coast was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The boat was very comfortable and perfectly suited to a day of exploring the coastline. Giovanni is clearly very knowledgeable and provided plenty of informative commentary with a personal touch. We stopped to swim at various locations and Giovanni even arranged a lunch at beachside restaurant. This is definitely the most enjoyable and relaxing way to see the Amalfi coast.
