A very well organized trip! With the kind and informative help of Ivy at the travel agent, we booked the transfer from Hanoi and were picked up as agreed. The drive to the harbour at HaLong was very comfortable and only took about 2 hours with a break in the middle.
The cruise itself was amazing with attentive staff and good food for all meals. The activities on board were very well planned and gave us enough time to see the sights, kayak or swim. Especially the full second day on the day boat was really nice and we got a lot of sunshine that day!
Comfortable cabins and yummy drinks in the happy hour.
The return trip was also easy with pickup from the harbour and information sent from Ivy on WhatsApp a couple hours before so we were prepared!

The cruise and staff deserves a 5 Star rating . The cruise was well organized from beginning to end. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. The food was excellent and the staff attentive and friendly at all times.
On a different note I would like to add how disappointed I was seeing all the rubbish floating along our cruise through Halong Bay, I have never seen so much trash in the ocean . I would like to urge all tour companies and the government of Vietnam to do something about the pollution of this magnificent landscape, otherwise it will no longer be a tourist attraction!

Crowded, the name cruise is misleading. You pick up your boat in Ha Long port and motor for 45 mins and then moor up surrounded by 70 other boats. From there you are taken to a near by island to sit on a beach with thousands of other people. The cruise is neither luxurious or exclusive. There is minimal safety breifing and no sharing of information about a Unesco World heritage site. The tour companies are just taking advantage of tourists in an almost factory like way. I would not recommend this cruise. I feel like I was ripped off. It was meant to be a 3 day two night cruise but it is more like a 2 day two night cruise. The third day you are in harbour and off the boat before 10:30am. The crew only really start to pay attention to you once you complain to the tour manger about the non existsnt service. Luxury cruise but takes traking down 3 crew members at 5pm for a refreshing beverage and waiting 30minutes even though you are at the bar.
Other passenges and ourselves were agog at the barman siting in a swing chair on his phone until you approached him for a drink.
Not what we perseved as Luxury cruise.
On our day trip a couple were left behind. The boat had to turn around and go back for them.
The plastic and rubbbish in the sea is heart breaking. Such an awe inspiring geological wonder but the sea is full of plastic waste, pearl farm debris and huge polystyrene boxes, just floating past as you kayak around the area.
I think with some small tweaks things could be much much improved.

We had such a lovely 3 day/2night Halong Cruise and it is all thanks to Ivy.
After making an error with our booking Ivy quickly got in contact and helped rectify it. She also arranged our transport from Halong Bay to Hanoi at a reasonable price. (Our biggest mistake was not booking with her to get to the bay!)
The trip itself was a lot of fun. We were on the Athena Luxury cruise which had the same look and feel as the photos (if not better.) The food and activities were good too.
The crew and other travellers on our boat made our trip so memorable.
If we were to book again or knew of others travelling to Halong Bay we'd certainly recommend to book with Ivy. She will go above and beyond to make your trip a success.

The tour company was fantastic at communicating. Ivy was our contact and she made sure we knew very clearly where to go and that we were able to contact her if we had any problems. She made travelling very easy for us!

Rooms are super spacious and gorgeous!! The trip was jam packed with activities. Food was pretty good. Buffet style breakfast and lunch and a five course evening meal. Well worth the money.

The 3-day all-inclusive Halong luxury cruise offered a superbly organised adventure with an extremely friendly and helpful crew. From check-in to check-out, everything ran smoothly, making the experience pleasant and stress-free.
Culinary offering: ⭐⭐⭐☆☆
While the meals on board were delicious and varied, it was disappointing that drinks were not included. In particular, the lack of free water with meals meant that one was forced to purchase additional, more expensive drinks.
Excursions and activities: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
The organised trips to caves and kayaking were well thought out and offered a lot of fun. Despite the large crowds for kayaking, which somewhat reduced the exclusivity, these activities were highly entertaining.
Environmental awareness: ⭐⭐☆☆☆
One sad sight was the extreme amount of rubbish in the sea, which marred the nature experience. The accumulation of plastic and styrofoam is a clear sign that there is still a lot to be done in terms of environmental protection.
Conclusion:
Despite minor flaws, such as the drinks not being included and the pollution, the cruise was a "great experience" that I would definitely recommend and repeat myself. The beauty of Halong Bay and the joy of the activities outweigh the negative aspects and make this cruise an unforgettable experience.

I would highly recommend everyone to do the 3 days Trip trough the Halong Bay. The second day was very beautiful on the Dayboat. Very polite and nice Crew, and also the Rooms were very clean. The food for the Dinner was extraordinary. Also for Vegetarians a absolutly great choice.

Transportation is smoothly for us by private car from Hanoi to Halong Bay and then Hanoi Airport. Thank you so much
