Cathy and Jody were absolutely amazing. They have a lot of knowledge about Alaska and the history and were able to answer all our silly tourist questions. They were extra attentive with my aunt who uses a walker and needed a step to get in and out of the van. They had extra stories from their time living in Alaska and made the tour that much better. I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Fairbanks!

We loved the whole tour and Jean was wonderful. We saw so many different sites that were interesting and or guide knew lots of facts and made the whole trip fun.

The Heritage Tour took us to a lot of classic places on our tourism list for Fairbanks—it was great to do so much.
Constructive criticism - More time at the Museum of the North would've been nice. It's a big museum, and just one hour (30 mins of which was a movie) isn't nearly enough. More interactive elements in the tour as a whole would be great.
Also, the tour guide was a bit off-putting. We couldn't tell if he was implicitly racist or not.

While we enjoyed the tour and saw some interesting places, the family with us who munched much of the time in the van on some really foul smelling snacks made for a less than pleasant time. The tour guide/driver didn’t have a microphone so it was nearly impossible to hear his descriptions over the woman FaceTiming with her family back home.

The tour stops were very interesting. The driver had no narrative to add to the experience. He was a nice conversationalist, but had very little informative tidbits to share. Folks in the back of the van could not hear him speaking. No microphone. You might consider seeing these places on your own.

The tour sites were very interesting; unfortunately the guide added very little interesting tidbits. He was a good conversationalist, but didn't have much to add to the sites we were visiting. The guests in the second row were unable to hear him. He had no mic. Save your money and go see these sites on your own!
