A dragon stone is said to have fallen from the sky in 1420, Roman governor Pontius Pilate is buried in Lake Pilatus, and a petrified man stands guard outside a cave. The Pilate massif, which dominates the whole region from its height of 2128 meters, undoubtedly stimulates the imagination. Even today, Pilatus offers visitors many mystical discoveries and fabulous pieces of nature.
Travel on a panoramic gondola to the top of Mount Pilatus from Kriens, enjoy the new "Dragon ride" designed with large windows as if you were flying. Admire 73 Alpine peaks. You can find restaurants and terraces with a magnificent view from the top at 2132 meters.
If you take the silver option you will come down by the cable car to Kriens and the driver will pick you up
With the gold option, Step down with the steepest cogwheel train to Alpnach, board a cruise across Lake Lucerne.
Enjoy some free time in Lucerne. Admire the Chapel Bridge,and its old town

I love the tour and the only reason I am giving it a 4 star instead of 5 is I like hearing the history of the area or any interesting facts about where I am going or seeing. The guides were super nice and accommodating but no information except Zurich is clean etc.
