This was an excellent tour. Interesting and well done. We never realized there was so much to learn about abalone. Highly recommend.

We had a great time and learned a lot. It was really fun trying so many superfoods at a time! They show more than they advertise for which is really cool! Including the tasting! I would definitely recommend!

Saw this on the Food Network when Guy Fieri & family visited - and with the very close proximity to the airport (as in the next exit down) it seemed like a great way to kick-off my Big Island holiday. Arriving early there's a food truck directly in front serving tasty abalone-based concoctions (pictured was abalone poke) - after that Carlos conducted our tour that lasted a bit over an hour... very informative, got to handle abalone of various sizes along with an assortment of other sea life - then concluded the tour with a tasting. Very glad I went!

I dragged my hubby to this tour today and he even admitted he enjoyed it. It was really interesting to see how Abalone are farmed and learn about their lifecycle and see them up clise. We even got to homd a sea urchin and sorm other sea critters. Karen gave a great tour.

Learning about abalones, touching them then eating them was a great experience! I wasn’t too sure if my teens would like this, but they both had a great time. The guide talked too fast to catch everything, but he was funny and had a good sense of humor.
